and most likely because hl2:ep1 gives you HL:source MP for free.

yeah you do get the HLDM:Source for free, but not HL:Source.

Okay, so I'm playing through Ep1 for the second time, commentarys enabled.

I'm just up to the elevator scene in the citadel, and I've noticed a few things. Quite alot of the metal walls appear to have funny pixelated shapes when struck by indirect lighting. It's almost like grey and multicoloured camouflage that has no relation on how the metal looks under the flashlight. Also, when I look around while holding an energy ball, they seem to go underneath the platform while I'm still standing up. This means they look gigantic, but smaller when I hold them next to Alyx. Anyone else seen these bugs?
