I got bored of it after a few hours. It's very nice and all, but if you don't love gangster stuff it probably wont hold your attention.

I'm still enjoying it - I've got about as far as I can in the missions before getting stuck. It's a bit annoying (as the nega-review highlights) that you have to do complete missions over if you fail, including some lengthy travelling, and it sucks that I haven't unlocked the whole map.

While it's true that there's less in it than previous versions, I still haven't found any hidden packages or done the stunt jumps, so there's still a bit to explore. Hopefully in my bumming around I'll have gained enough proficiency to complete the missions I can't do, or more likely I'll pick up the PC version, where big gang fights are likely to be a piece of piss with a mouse.

Of course then, there's multiplayer - with few 5punkers being around to play with, I've avoided this on the consoles, but some of the modes have great potential for 5punky PC-based mayhem, assuming they deliver it with the tools to arrange this.

To be honest I've probably not given it enough attention, AoC and WoW were there distracting me at the time. It is a very nice game whatever your interests and certainly more accessible and varied than GTA3: Whatever.
