You can easily mute people on XBL and stick people on an ignore list.

I want to have a look at that Heroic map pack when I get my xbox fixed, I was waiting for it to become free.

Woo Elephant Yeah wrote:Well I've had mine since Tuesday, and I must say that I am really impressed with the experience of Halo 3 already.

Probably helps that I'm playing with a bunch of friendly guys through a friend at work, but it's no different than a multi player experience on the PC, if anything it's a lot slicker and easier due to the balancing.

Probably not going to get another game for a while, I might just cane the crap out of Halo 3 until I get bored then maybe move across to COD4 as well.

Looks really good on my Dell 2405 monitor through the VGA cable. My gamertag is WooElephantYeah, and I'll update the list in the other forum.
I got my 360 a couple of months ago and although I'm on a self imposed gaming ban for my last 5 weeks of Uni (ever, fingers crossed), I'm loving the 360 Experience. Before the ban I was playing Crackdown (which is just fuckin' awesome for 5punky style madness shennanigans (eg throwing smart cars at each other, shot putting friends' bodies from the top of huge towers) and possible in my top 5 of all time), Halo 3, Hitman Blood Money and Lost Odyssey. I was also enjoying Castlevania: Symphony of the Night on XBox Live Arcade.

I've also been playing Harvest Moon: Magical Melody and Mario Galaxy on my Wii. As well as finding time for The Witcher and some Hellgate London (which is similar to Diablo really, though not as good).

Anyway, the point of this response was to ask you how you hooked up your 360 to your PC monitor. Although I didn't really look hard when I first got it, I couldn't seem to find a hole that could take my VGA (fnar). Did you need anything extra?

THIS :above:

The cable should include an optical audio out connection as well if you want to hook it up to a surround sound system.

I just use the red and white connectors to go into my PC, and play sound through the speakers or wireless cans I have connected to the PC. The only downside is having to turn on the PC just to hear the sound on the 360, but I'm not that bothered.

My Dell 2405 also has a component input, but I was told VGA would probably be better than component, so I went with that.

Thanks for that FJ. Managed to get a used & like new one for 5.99 (plus £4 p&p - still cheaper than the new one). Mrs Tandino can no longer complain that I'm taking up the telly with my X-Boxing.
