You would.
In other news, korpiklaani 'happy little boozer' is my bitch. And Berk you are wrong about the jumping, it takes forever to land and on a metal track you can miss lots of points, I'm a fan of the mental mouse flailing technique like derek.
Also, mr johnson, are you using the version fear poted? I didn't for my first few runs and the graph was very different for what is essentially the same song because it didn't have the coffin opening bit at the start.

Depends on the track I find, sometimes jumping works nicely (like in grey roadblocks) but others it doesn't
I'd rather miss the greys and get a 30% bonus.
and very much

the version of thriller I was on for a start was much more difficult than the one fear posted.

I picked a relatively easy one for the first song.
Looks like Baliame is set to win this, so at 12:01 I expect you to have chosen the next song. 24 hours sounds long enough to me also, now we all know what we're doing.

Can you dig it?! I had to re-run it because the scores disappeared, I missed one block in the re-run but scored less than the run before when I missed two or three, I guess the misses made bigger blocks overall for moar bonuses.

What's wrong with Thriller? I'm not a MJ fan or anything but it is a classic. The beginning and end are a bit boring to play though.

Gah! What is that? Is it that mosquito box thing because I can hear it and it made my brain twist.
I'm off to try the Jaws theme.

Yes. Yes it is

But I'm not supposed to be able to hear it. Presumably listening to it on a PC is not the same as hearing it through one of those boxes and everyone can hear this example?

They had to stop doing that because it was infringing the little bastards rights to stand outside shops gobbing on the pavement and swearing at grannies.
That really didn't do too much to me, but I'm still suffering from the dillinger escape plan so my ears do that anyway because of the tinnitus.
What kind of track does it make? Or is it too short?

I just ran it.
editz - You bastard! It starts so fast you're past 2 purple blocks before you even move and now I'm trying to get a perfect on that thing and I can hear it now too!

What did you save it as? Have you run it? I've managed to clock up 4331 points on it, but I'm not going to try again, I think my earwax has started to melt.

I've heard it enough, perhaps mostly because of the C64 game,
Chiller. I didn't really want to remind myself.

Listening to any track over and over gets annoying eventually. I tended to have a go, then play a couple of other tracks, then have another go. Mind you, I'm shit and only got about 60k.

Right, I'll keep this thread going instead of starting a new one, it'd get messy if we had a new thread for each track.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it -Guns N' Roses Sweet Child O'Mine.

I just did my first run through, its got bumps, fast bits, slow bits and a hectic ending, I used the appetite for destruction album version.

Pete you're fail. I'm using the Appetite for Destruction of Sweet Child O' Mine and you're not on the scoreboards. You also aren't showing on the thriller one for me (neither did I get an email for being dethroned).
And Sweet Child O' Mine is pretty tame, its a 90% uphill snooze fest

Well I used the thriller that fear posted. And I'm the one that supplied Berk with the sweet child o' mine that's hosted
I think it is YOU that fails!
editz - and as for the emails, they've not been working for days, I've set records on obscure things and gone back to find someone else has taken the top spot, but I don't get a dethroned email.
