No, just graphics that are less than 15 years old and a modern control system. It's the bane of almost all old games.

I've completed about 10 missions in syndicate, it is also ace and crap all at the same time. I never could finish the mission on the oil rig, it was just too damn hard (twss) so maybe this time I'll manage it.

IIRC Gauss Pistols, lots of the fuckers, and the best mods for your agents.

I did manage the Atlantic Accelerator when I played it originally. I seem to remember I used lots of sniper rifles and covered bottlenecks. The shots pushed the enemy agents back and I held big buches of them in place while I wore away at them. And yes, full upgrades are a must at this point in the game.

Is that the last one? If so 4 shields per agent, 2 miniguns, 1 sniper rifle, 1 gauss gun for laughs. Run the shields non stop at the start and they will all kill each other (eventually) and then go around and pick off the rest of them normally afterwards

Update.

Today I tried playing lots of those games via DosBox, but ultimatly gave up as they're just not as good as the original versions.

Solution:

Download latest version of WinUAE, find some rom sites, grab a copy of kickstart 1.3 and 3.0 (couldn't find 3.1).

Download lots of the original amiga version on ADF format!

I've been playing amiga games for the last 5 hours 8)

If you're interested, prod me I'll upload my version (with the config's I've built to megaupload for everyone)
