...I was playing monster onslaught, disconected, tried to play again...and I find myslef in the same situation as you...strange. A reinstall of gmod didn't work, so I don't know what's spacking out. *goes to search forums*

Hmm, check you put the Onslaught map in the gmod/maps folder, not the HL2 one. Otherwise it should automatically add the HL2 ones I think...

Maybe try deleting and reinstalling Gmod?
its all saved under garry's mod-mods

do i have to move some of the folders?

Found a solution. Aparently its somthing to do with the mod cache so:
Download: http://members.iinet.net.au/~davco/Xebo ... uilder.zip

Follow this example: http://forums.facepunchstudios.com/show ... stcount=55

Original post: http://forums.facepunchstudios.com/show ... hp?t=58140

It worked for me...but hell, back to the time of command line interfaces!

On the brick block in the middle there's a control pannel/button. Press that.

Just to make sure everyone is aware- Garry's Mod 9 is pencilled in for release on Friday 28th October.
It should fix a load of problems that have come up since DoD:S's release, and add some trendy stuff.

I you dont already know, garrys mod 9 has been released and its waaaaaaay better than previous gmods because of the LUA scripting. It lets people make their own mini games where you crap on peoples heads and race melons around, its great fun. We need to get our server sorted and 5chedule a game.

Download it here: http://gmod.garry.tv/gmod_9_0.exe
