Without BF2 running, right-click a player that has a map name in their game info column, enter your EA username and password, BF2 runs and connects to the right server.
Players don't always have a map-name showing though - don't know why that is. Either they're playing SP or the server isn't detected by XFire correctly.

It's because the sever isn't responding to Xfire's requests for info. If you notice, you can right-click on someone who you know is playing (i.e.: they told you on TS) and click Join Game, and you can see the server IP address in the sidebar.FatherJack wrote:Through XFire? I had trouble joining games through xfire until i deleted the intro sequences on beef, after that it worked fine.Soloman wrote:Be nice, i've only played it properly twice![]()

I would play more, but i can't join games that people are allready playing, and if i manually put in the IP they tell me it doesnt exist![]()
And yes....I'm fully patched up

Hmm, this might help, what is the directory the intro sequences are kept in?
