I downloaded about 40% last night.

Finally fixed the servers. Was getting quite amusing since when the EU server went down everybody jumped on to the US server and crashed it, then everybody jumped back on the EU server when that came up and crashed that one too. Ah well at least it's fixed now.

after slowly downloading 200MB patches from the shitty PlayNC client (which can go fuck right off) I find out that apparently Gamespot beta keys are no longer valid, even though it says in my PlayNC account that I am able to play.

So adios Tabula Rasa, go fuck yourself.

Got a 'Kill this, collect his shit' mission last night.
Killed three of the bastard things and not one of them dropped the required loot.
Doesn't help that there was a crowd of 20 other players hanging around his spawn points getting the first hit in (securing the loot for themselves).

change instance if that occurs, some of the different "versions" of the same map have hardly any people on. You will always find that in the starting place, for example wilderness (the first area) has about 10 instances, Divide (the second) has 5, and Palisades has only one instance, so you will find when you move on from the noob area things will improve.

I had no problems with either patching or registering. I think i have a spare beta key if you want it (might work, might not)

In unrelated news, I did my first "full" group quest, conclusion: CoH, with sci-fi background rather than comic book hero.
