It's very unlikely I'd be able to climb down without injuring myself. Hopefully Joose's drones will be able to tell us how far the path goes on for.

I'll break two drones off from the perimeter watch to scout out the path, and report back what I find.

The drones follow the path for some time, it dips closer to the valley floor at various points but remains stubbornly above for about a hundred metres before dropping down into the tree line.

Alvrin hits the ramp drop switch and with and with a meaty clunk the solenoid clicks in, the door does nothing. Looks like back up systems are fried too.

I waiting for suggestions from the rest of the team. If I try to climb down unaided I will fail the rolls and probably end up bashed up (physician heal thyself!), and I'm certainly not going along the path and through the woods on my own.

Okay, random tests go, a logic test from Smith and a strength + athletics test from Alvrin should be able to get Smith tied on and lowered down. Deject remember you neg modifier.

Well you only need two to match an assisted climbing test so that's all I was looking for. In terms of future tests Alvrin's test target is enough hits to beat the body attribute of the person being lowered.

Alvrin sends Smith instructions on how to put the gloves on and tie up safely, After a few false starts Smith is lowered by Alvrin in a rather ungainly fashion down to the valley floor.

Yeah, but I'm saving that for a special occasion. If I ask him to do everything for me I might as well be an NPC.

It's too bad you can't RP a spirit. They'd be totally unbalanced but it would be fun.

Now I'm down I'll have a quick look over first:

Perception (4) + Intuition (4)

6,1,5,6,1,3,5,1 = 4

Then I'll use First Aid to diagnose Aysun. Not sure if you use Medkits or Biomonitors to help with diagnosing, so I'll leave them out:

First Aid (4) + Logic (8)

5,4,6,4,1,5,6,5,1,3,6,5, = 7 phew!

Then another First Aid roll to do some healing:

First Aid (4) + Logic (8) + Medkit (6)

2,1,5,6,5,1,1,3,6,1,5,4,2,2,3,3,6,3 = 6
