No, I don't remember the tank either. I can live with a bit of artistic license though.

Crossed is great - another one by
Garth Ennis. It is bloody brutal though.

Forget monsters, zombies or sparkly vampires, this trailer shits me up more than anything else. It has been getting some
good reviews, but being a tad claustrophobic I doubt I'll ever see it.

I think it has something to do with these:

In other words, you're not supposed to take it seriously. Not that anyone will.

I thought "wow, an almost original idea" but even the trailer admits it's based on a graphic novel.

That looks like a cross between Equilibrium and Judge Dredd.

I'm not seeing a lot of original. Matrix/Wanted fighting on a Mad Max set. The religion thing is different though.

As the saying goes, there is nothing new under the sun. Everything ever is a bit derivative of something else to some degree.
Frankly, I would rather something be good than original.

I actually quite like the look of that!
Seems like a remarkably similar role to the one Bettany had in Legion.

Very true, well put. I like the look of the setting, but the wire-fighting and ninja skills are a turn off for me.

Don't get me wrong, I like the look of Priest. I was just disappointed that it wasn't an original concept. Hollywood seem incapable of making any films that arent based on another property.

The thumbnail of that makes me think they're on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
