Down Terrace
A film by B3ta's Ben Wheatley (mrandmrswheatley). IMDb says: "A crime family looks to unmask the police informant in their midst who threatens to take down their business." The trailer doesn't give too much away but could be interesting.

And if you're feeling masochistic you could seek out the Burlesque trailer.

Have done. It made me sad.

I don't know if I'm excited by the Avengers film, or fearful of it. It could be awesome, but it could also fail very, very easily.
I found out today that parts of Captain America are being filmed in Manchester and Liverpool. Apparently there are areas that look more like 1930's Manhattan than Manhattan itself. Listen out for Nazis with northern accents.

Probably, but it might be pretty plops at least. Im slightly confused by the text in the trailer though: "Maybe we should have listened". Why? What could we do different, hide under the bed and hope the world-smashing aliens go away?

Should have listened to Mr. Hawking and not called them in the 1st place.

British film, looks a little District 9-ish from some of the trailers, the but the plot sounds more in depth.

I won't lie to you, I have watched the "high five" part of the new Jackass trailer about 20 times and still find it funny.

I like Downey JR but all his characters seem very similar.

Monsters looks interesting. The last bit made me think or War of the Worlds type creatures.

Darren Aronofsky! Requiem for a Dream is one of my all time favourite films, therefore I will certainly be watching this.

This. Can't really see the resemblance to District 9 though. This looks more like Cloverfields to me, except with no shakeycam. I do like the idea of them traversing the land and seeing the deserted and rusting remains of the battles rather than the hollywood splodes.

I was thinking it was a bit war of the worlds too.

The Walking Dead? I've got all but the last of Kirkman's graphic novels. It's a brilliant series, brutal and interesting. Captures the zombie genre perfectly with the human struggles slowly rising to the fore of the zombie backdrop and making you wonder who's actually worse. From what I can see this is a pretty close match with a great pedigree. The guy playing Rick fits the part nicely, and the other cast members are recognisable as their paper counterparts. I was predicting the next scene from the trailers even though I've not ready the first books in years. This could be very, very good, and there's at least three series' worth in book form already.

The Walking Dead does look very faithful to the source material. I don't remember the tank though.
If you think Walking Dead is brutal you should see Crossed. It's not zombies, but similar. I'll put something about it in the relevant thread later.
