Well you came from the elevator end too. Anyway, you pick up everything the Shivers did, plus the fact that they'd missed the fact that it wasn't just 10mm fired. Unsurprisingly there's a bit of damage from 10-gauge too.

Thats what im thinking:

Last time we saw them, the manchine cultists were stealing shiver armour, so it would make sense if they were now wearing it.

Scarves over their faces would hide anything odd and manchiney.

I'm wondering if the bodies were stolen so a manchine can make itself a new skin-suit. I cant help shake the feeling that dragging a body off for some shot-up blocker seems daft. If you just wanted gear, you would take the guns and fuck off. The Exo *maybe*. But fucked up blocker?

Of course, K'trr isn't thinking any of this, as he knows nothing about your previous manchine adventures :)

That was my thought too. With regards to them leaving the body of Melody, I was thinking that maybe they were only looking for male bodies/parts (hur hur).

Maybe we can find out how many Wall Shivers have gone missing recently (though I get a feeling the answer is 'lots')

Like Dirk suggested, as Humans we'll have the slight advantage of blending in a little more than our alien counterparts, even though we're both kitted out with Exo.I'll head down with Phoebe to try and find someone to talk to. I'm guessing she'll need something like a Detect and Streetwise roll?

I'll fire those too.

Detect (to find anyone hiding away from us)
3,3 +3 = 9 (damn..)

Streetwise (to find the most likely group of people)
10,5 +2 = 17

You head down by the wall. It's as derelict and depressing an area as you've ever seen on the surface level, more reminiscent of the edges of Lower Downtown. The residential buildings are cramped and run down, and the commercial areas seem to focus on sleaze and short-term gratification. Downtown isn't the most classy place at the best of times, but Wallside seems to be populated by the scum and villainy of the Upper Downtown class. That and more than its fair share of shabby and hostile looking Shivers. You get the impression that the only thing seperating the crooks and the Shivers is the armour.

Poking around the area you both manage to pull off being casual visitors and so escape any real attention, apart from Phoebe being approached a few times. However Grimmie's imposing physique seems to put most would be suitors off. It doesn't take long before you spot a probably match for one of the girls in the pictures, taking shelter under an overhanging walkway and trying to light a cigarette. She cuts quite a sorry figure and seems in slightly worse condition than when your pictures were taken.

Phoebe pulls out some matches and lights up a stick, holding it in front of the lady until she obliges.
Phoebe wrote:Here, you can keep 'em
Trying to seem as friendly and disarming as possible, Phoebe attempts to engage her in conversation.
Phoebe wrote:Long night?..... Yeah I know how things can be around here sometimes. Do you think you might be able to help me? I am looking for this guy here in the picture. I think his name is Adrian. I was wondering if maybe you knew him or... know where he usually hangs out.. or his friends.. anything really. Whatd'ya say?

Just gonna roll what I think may be relevant here.. anything else?

Just so I'm on the same page as everyone else then, Eraser, Cutter, and I are just hanging around waiting to make a distraction or counter any attack right? Basic security and misdirection?

I believe so, or you could be chatting to some of the Shivers too.

I'll look for any suspicious looking people wearing masks and cloaks over armor.

Phoebe to Hooker wrote:Yeah, I get'yah.. Something for nothin. Well see I got all of these photos, and I can see some of them are you. So, I can give you the photos, or send them on to the authorities where you'll likely be listed as a Darknight affiliate, and you know, you could get some more unwanted attention. I'm sure you'd want to avoid that.

You look a bit tired, I do have some information on an empty apartment that you could probably stay at for a while. Not the safest or cleanest place but its a hell of a lot nicer than 'round here. Oh and if you go, there's a few lonely nice guys around there, might be able to turn a few easy tricks.

So again, I just need to know if you know anything more about Adrian, have you seen him lately, do you know any of his friends? If not, do you know any of these ladies or where they might be now?
Phoebe pulls out her hooker trading card collection and shows them to the lady.

(If she gives in I was just going to give her Ordely's old address since the door is battered down and stuff. ) Do I need to roll persuasion again or anything?

I'd normally stick with the one roll for the whole encounter, although you could have complimented that particular part with an intimidate roll. As it happens the promise of somewhere to crash won her over.
Hooker wrote:I ain't seen the guy lately, but I know he's about. These two girls work together at the Little Tickle club, you could probably do worse than try there. It's about two blocks that way, you shouldn't miss it.

Looking at the pictures we have I scan the room for the two ladies inside the club.
