Lets have a room search before we move on.

I reckon we head up another level then. If the chow is being contaminated here, it's most probably being done at the production stage

You are probably right, but I'd hate to find out we left an attack behind us.

This is Dogpants running the game...

Ah, you must have posted whilst I was typing.

The warehouse seems empty. There's a few shelves of parts and components for the machinery at the back, and a couple of doors. One room contains a small workshop with very basic tools for box-swap maintenance, the other is a receipt and dispatch room containing another terminal, various packing materials which look like they're for the machine components, and a bin full of waste packaging. On the other side of the warehouse is a small freight elevator, the kind with sliding mesh doors. It's not at this floor, but the buttons indicate there's only this floor and the one below.

Once deej has finished his computer stuff, he could use this machine to cross reference delivery destinations and the psycho doobrie attacks. Firstly it will confirm if this is the site of the bad batch, and secondly we'll know the location of any other potential attacks.

Up the stairs then.

The stairs end on this floor. It's taken up by a control room for the machinery, which seems to be partly automated and partly supervised and operated from here. There's about a dozen ratty chairs, a few mugs, a couple of terminals. Not a lot of loose items in here, and the equipment looks pretty clean and in good order, especially considering the rest of the facility so far. Across one wall of the room is a window overlooking the production floor. There's also a door which leads onto a catwalk with steps down to the ground. The production equipment seems to be still running, although it doesn't look to be actually producing anything. It's a bit of a maze of machinery down there so there's quite a lot of floor area not visible. On the floor you can see are large black and yellow chevrons flowing through the walkways amongst the machinery. Lying on the floor in one of the walkways is a human arm.

Are we on the floor/in the room where the arm is (sorry, I'm full of a cold and being really dense today)? If so I'll do a Forensics check on it.

8,3,+6 = 17

Detect again, what else is around...

Thank you WoC...

You're in a room overlooking the shop floor, and the arm is down there. Even from up here you can see it looks like it's been torn off.

Not a great deal in here to see. A couple of the mugs still have coffee in them.

I'll get on that right away.

Computer Use (4): 9, 4 + 4 = 17
Computer Subterfuge (2): 10, 2 + 2 = 14

Roll's already made (successfully), but without much in the way of hacking tools it'll take some time to brute horse it. I should write some hacking rules really for the E-War package.

Yeah as long as it's not going to take more than like an hour I'll try it.

Are the rest of you waiting for Deject to hack or carrying on into severed arm country?

The catwalk and metal stairs down are a bit rickety but capable of holding your weight. Motion trackers are going mental from the machinery. Reaching the ground there's more evidence of unpleasantness as further into the machinery the equipment is splattered with gore. There looks to be a clear path around the edge of the room, with another that heads towards the centre of the machinery before splitting at a T and vanishing beyond the clanking production lines.

Can the gore trail be followed?

by Dog Pants
Yeah, easily. It follows the walkway left.
