You know, it makes me wonder if the Firewall team knew what this thing was all along and were coming for it anyway, we just happened to snatch it out from under them. In which case they might be a little pissed at us.

I can conjure up the flames, and assuming we're pretty much done, any stun I take now will be rather inconsequential. Once we're at a suitable location I'll fling some fire.

Flamethrower horse 5 (Drain Value: 5):

Magic (6) + Spellcasting (6) + Combat Spell (2): 1, 3, 6, 5, 6, 6, 6, 4, 5, 5, 6, 1, 5, 2: 9 hits.

Drain Resist:

Logic (5) + Willpower (4): 6, 1, 1, 3, 2, 1, 4, 3, 4: 1 hit. Heh, ouch.

After tossing the massive flames at the body, Leland looks visibly shaken up and weakened. Doubling over in pain, he stumbles back towards Nik's van. Leaning against it, he takes out his flask and takes a large swig.
Shit. I gotta sit down after that. Fucking hell my head feels like it's splitting open. Let's get the fuck out of here so I can take some aspirin and sleep for 12 hours.

With that much damage, yeah, its pretty crispy. Still identifiable as a body, just about. But fuck, its the Barrens, there's plenty of them around. Certainly wont be identified as *that* body, short of some hefty forensics work.

That doesn't get done on bodies found in the Barrens usually.

Y'know I'm sure we've covered this before now. I could have used a couple pounds of plastique from my backpack and blow the body to microscopic bits. Costs me a few nuyen and I don't get a headache and a nosebleed...

I haven't gotten to use my Flamethrower spell before, this was a good opportunity considering the low risk so I can let loose. The stun I just took will be gone in a couple of hours, and the physical damage can be taken care of in a day. Trust me, I wanted to do that, just for shits and giggles.

In any case, I think I'll hop in Nikolai's medbot thing and chillax for a while. If I have enough time to heal off some of this stun, I'll join Al when we meet with the clients, otherwise I will just stay there until it's all gone.

Grimmie, do your thing! Remember I have the Quick Healer quality so all healing involving me gets a +2.

Joose, can you stick a bit of gen up on the wiki about our NPC contacts? I'm loosing track of them and I'd hate to piss one off by talking to them the wrong way thinking they were someone else.

I don't remember what the process for that is. Hm.

Kaz agrees to meet you at a nearby bar. When you get there, he is leaning against the bar itself, chatting to the barman.

He waves you over, and the barman moves off.
