Can we prod him with something to make sure he's not carrying a charge?

Also I'm going on holiday this weekend so won't be around for a week.

It shouldn't be too long out of combat before Eraser regens the damage.

So whilst we are waiting, Eraser will see what functionality he can return to his armour, if any

Weapons Maintenance 2 (there is no armour maintenance skill it seems, but as it also applies to power systems for weapons, and most things in the WoP are a standard fit, it's worth a try)

Roll(2d10)+2:
4,9,+2
Total:15

You'll have to take it apart and strip it down if you want to do that, and it will take a few hours. Knowing what you know of electrical and electronic systems you think that at best you could get some servos back, but with the control circuits most likely cooked it wouldn't make a great deal of difference.

So if one of the other guys wearing powered armour snuffs it, I can steal their unit to get things working...

...I understand...

I'll take a close look at what Eraser just grabbed (without touching it for now).

Detect (5): 5, 3 + 5 = 13

It's a large breaker. It looks like the switch has been smashed and the contacts are bare. By the reaction Eraser had when he touched it, and the scorch mark, you'd say the bottom contacts are still live.

Let's see where this goes...
I'll try to follow where the bottom contact is connected to to see if I can trace where the power is coming from.

It disappears into a small hole in the floor.

Can I see any breakers that look similar?

No, but there are metal clips which would hold them, or indeed any other random bit of metal.

Sounds like it's time to put a coin in the fuse socket, as it were. I'll find or fashion a suitable piece of metal and have Eraser jam it in, since his armor is all fucked up already, and he's shown that he can take any negative effects.

The remains of the wheelie chairs look conductive.

I'll hack off a suitable piece and offer it to Eraser.
Hey buddy. Put this in and I'll buy you something nice when we get out.

Sorry!

You thrust the bit of steel tubing into the gap and wedge it in there. You also get an impromptu lesson in Ohm's Law; since you're very well insulated in your ceramic armour and rubber soled boots, and the metal bar is a pretty good conductor, you still get a whack but it doesn't cause any damage you won't be healing within a few rounds. Takes a little effort to let go of the bar though.

The lights suddenly come on, although a couple of the bulbs pop. You can hear things humming to life both inside the room and out. The maglocks on the door clunk. The banks of monitors show the equipment rebooting.
