Not a lot to see. There's a couple of concealed cameras, and you notice a bit of graffiti on the walls. Mostly badly spelt and crude, and alluding to unknown individuals.

Yeah since I have a Scout Helmet and have been trained in using it, I am supposed to be aware of anything detected by motion and environment scanners without having to actively check for them. Damn this gear was expensive though.

I'll head for the opposite doors and try to stick the AV stalk through and get an idea of what's on the other side.

I do indeed - it's a monocle don'tcherknow

I really need a DeathSuit top hat now.

Roman: Deej is pretty much right. You can see stuff through the monocle without having to 'get the scanner out' and check, but unless you have the scout package it's not auto-offered by the GM. Or at least that's my made up rule.

Deject: The door opens onto a corridor. It has a door off either side and leads to some steps at the end going up out of sight. The door on the right is slightly ajar, alhtough you're not picking up motion or hearing anything.

Makes sense. I think I only got this gear so I could have a high-tech monocle. So, just to clarify, if I need to use it in future I just need to specify that I'm scanning for stuff?

How can a door be a jar, even slightly????

I'll head out into the corridor and check out the jar-door amalgam.

It might be jammed.

Or just ask what you see on motion scanner. It's hands free at least.

The door leads to a small office with a few monitors and a fairly uncomfortable looking chair. One of the monitors shows the locker room you came in through, the other has static on. There's a few buttons down the side but they're unmarked. There's also a decrepit looking terminal with a dirty keyboard, which is sat at a password prompt.

You guys keep looking, I'll see what I can do with this.
Computer Use (4): 4, 6 + 4 = 14
Computer Subterfuge (2): 9, 8 + 2 = 19

I'll try to bypass the password screen and see what the terminal controls.

I'll see if I can spot any tracks that don't look like they belong here.

Well, that failed then.

Deej: The terminal seems to be a standalone with a chippy port. You reckon you can brute horse the password given enough time, but how long it'll take depends on how secure that password is.

TSD: A gazelle possibly came through...

Let me take a look.
Tracking (7): 5, 7 + 7 = 19

Yeah, probably human feet actually. Look like they're wearing socks or something. Most recent are heading towards the stairs and down.

I think we can rule out John McClane then.

Having a guess, I'd say it's those protective coverings that, again, are used to ensure that labs etc don't get contaminated. This concerns me that, even without firing our weapons, we may be damaging the facility.
Dirk to Daniels wrote:Dirk here again. We're inside the facility, nothing much to report so far. One concern though - will our presence here contaminate the production if we're not suitably attired?

We can split up sure. Just be sure to call for backup if you encounter any threats.
