Stinky's place is pretty similar to last time. Im going to presume you go on down the corridor and such to speed things up.

You notice one difference to last time. There are some rather conspicuous nozzles dotted along the side walls, like they are part of a sprinkler system. Each one has a big sign painted on the wall above in yellow letters.

Code: Select all

DANGER! BIOHAZARD! DO NOT TOUCH!
Some of the nozzles have little dribbles of a redish liquid coming out. It really smells.

The panel in the door at the end slides open, and the goggles come in to view.

By the looks of those nozzles I'm not sure I fancy doing it. Who has the least proportion of meat to lose?

Eh, no risk, no reward. I'll go.

I'll use my knowledge of Chemistry to see if the smell gives me an indication of what the nozzles spray.

Chemistry (6) + Logic (5): 1, 2, 1, 2, 6, 1, 1, 3, 5, 5, 1: 3 hits.

Smells biological, like the waste from a butchers.
Stinky wrote:Ah, you noticed the nozzles huh? Daves idea. We had a couple of feral ghoul bodies dropped in to us the other day. Blended the fuckers, mixed in a little water to get the consistency right, and stuck em in a couple of pressurised tanks. Anyone gives us shit, they get doused in ghoul-juice. Plenty scary for them, wont do shit to us, unlike the flamethrower system. Nice huh?
He chuckles, which turns into some wet coughing noises.
C'mon then, show us the goods

wont do shit to us,
Would I be right, factoring in smell and no direct contact, that our good friend here may well be a ghoulie who kept his smarts?

That sounds like it would be a very effective deterrent. I certainly feel highly deterred from doing anything but business. Nik, get that body over here.

Frank will stay away from the sewage farm, keeping an eye out the gun ports and the front of the truck.

Zrt zrt zrt! I'll move it over and dump it into the chute.
I'll have my robo-chair do a little dance of victory and snap its pincers in the air, and then reverse back.

Stinky, sounding like he's just smelt something nasty wrote:Urgh, shes been on the BADs. I hate that. K, she's clean enough. I can give you the standard disappearing body trick for 1k, or the bonus, never-seen-again, even-in-little-bits package for 3k. We take credsticks, transfer to a numbered account or, if you are feeling retro and dont mind a 10% markup, I'll even take cash or script. Try and pay in that Azzie shit and your talking double-fee.
The goggles look at you expectantly.

Don't think we need the deluxe package, at least not for this one. We only needed to stop the autopsy. I assume it's still unlikely to be found - I'll be pissed off if it's dragged out of the river tomorrow morning,

Frank, over comms wrote:I could atomise that body with some bang for less than what that fuck wants. Tell him it's gone for good on the one kay package or I'll wade through this shit farm and skull fuck his ghoul ass with my shotgun.
I'm feeling paranoid now, this has been too easy so far.

K, I figured that there was a chance one of you would put 2 and 2 together, so did some street knowledge rolls. Nikolai wins!

This guy is clearly HMHVV infected, and like TSD has said, is almost certainly a ghoul. Its not a stretch to assume that a ghoul who specialises in making bodies go away has links to a group called Tamanous, orgnaleggers who reputedly have lot of connections to ghoul society.

Basically, what this means is his basic package means there's a chance someone somewhere might use her kidneys for some highly illegal and rather shitty medical procedure. Chances of anyone spotting something like that are pretty slim unless they are *really* looking.

Or, of course, someone might find traces of her DNA in ghoul-poo. But who is going to search through ghoul-poo?
