Thats how those of us in my line work when we do broad search, don't get up yourself just becuse you don't like not being the know it all.
N-zo seats himself in front of Frank's terminals and starts working.
I'll have a look at that club, anything else you want searched, call through to Grace, i'm sure she'll let me know the score. Just don't expect this much detail whilst I'm working from here though.

Past - Grimmie wants an underslung tazer on the ak of his ground drone and a grenade pistol in one of his flyers.

Underslung tazer - I have a spare untested tazer from the last run (Chopper didn't want his). So I'll kick off a search for the plans on how to attach a tazer to an ak. I'll also test the tazer for power output, I was just going to shoot someone but it might kill them if it's really powerful, we still need Chopper. :P

Grenade pistol - Joose can decide whether I have this in the warehouse or it needs some calls to my mate and/or boss to source it. The drone has a weapon mount already, so it just needs sourcing and clamping on. Dunno what test fitting this would need.

Plan search for the tazer mod - browse 3 + Data search 1 = 4 threshold of 24 for IR plans, interval of 1 min. Takes me 19 minutes to find the plans. I did roll one glitch, does this add time?

As for testing the tazer, I can't see any generic rolls, I'd hazard at firearms 5 + logic 4 with a 30 min interval but I wouldn't know a threshold to pass. Jooooose?! This will be done before fitting it. If it's dangerous I'll get another one and fit that instead.

Cost - tazer is free unless it might kill someone, then I'll have to fit a different one.

Grenade launcher is ¥1,500. It's an armtech MGL6 and it's 10F on restrictions.

Future (now) tiem -

Right, we'll leave it a bit and set out to this dudes address. Then we hit the barrens address.

Remember chopper, we need them alive.

Ok, testing the Tazer is pretty easy. Although I would normally ask for rolls, for speed I'll do em for you. Success!

Its base damage is 17 stun, and it can only get one shot off before needing a recharge. You might want to source another one.

You don't have the Grenade Launcher in stock, but your buddy can source one for you by about mid-day tomorrow. When it does come in to stock, I wont make you roll to fit it, as its piss easy. It'll take about an hour, all told (stripping a few bits off the weapon, fixing it on, linking it up so it can fire and testing it to make sure you've done it right).

So roughly what time of day are you all heading to your respective places, so I can get the descriptions right?

Tazers? Oh god. It's SWAT 4 all over again.

We'll be heading off early evening, maybe 7-8 PM.

I guess Nik', Chop' and Frank can head to the thug dude in AM, and then the barrens address in PM.
I don't remember if my mapsoft is better than my truck's or not, and if using it will give me an advantage by getting a faster route? It's 6.

Before we go I'd like to swap my EVO and Sandal out of their racks, and put both LEBDs inside.
Nikolai wrote:Okay, we go now. No time to waste. Chopper, front seat.
I am curious to hear this 'Gary Numan' Frank tells me about, he likes cars too, yes?
Nik' opens the driver's door and climbs into a specially modified seat, settling down.

Sounds about right. It will depend on my rolls however if you want the upgrades you'll have to wait, everything will be on my workbench until the job is complete. I'll aim to get a tazer from stock and get it fitted before mid-afternoon.

Past -

*kzzzzert* *zzzrrrrppp*
Frank wrote:Shit! Right that tazer if off the cards cos the fucker would fry most people you shot it with. I'll get one from stock and crack on with the mods. If everyone would kindly fuck off or keep the noise levels nice and low so I can concentrate, this is quite fiddly.

Present -

Joose wants results before we leave, so hold off any Frank/Nik/Chopper departure until I can get home and roll, or the brain fuckery of last night and this morning will be for naught. I ended up going to bed at 2am after scrolling madly through loads of pdf's looking for modifier tables and test thresholds and such. That stuff is all over the place. So I've got a note listing pertinent pages now.
Frank wrote:There's a good chance this guy is a nocturnal given his occupation so we may catch him sleeping if we get there in the daylight. Or he may be out and we'll wait. The barrens address, well we'll see what time we get there.
Grimmie, do your drones carry anti-bomb snooping sensors? He may have booby trapped the place, I'd rather they did the searches than me. :)

Fair enough, we can do the thug chap earlier afternoon, and the barrens later maybe?

Not at the moment, but I might be able to fit a Non-Linear Junction Detector (Arsenal pg59) to one of my drones some time.
For now, I could just use my dragonfly to scout around and see if there's anything obvious.

Well, it's good to know a good wheelman for once. I dare say the lot of us drive like we never passed the license test.
which may be more accurate than I think...
