Just before we set off, I want to see if there is anything unusual where we are:
Detect
4,2,+8 = 14
Not the best Detect roll I've ever had...

You're currently outside the cargo entrance, which is designed for vans and the security diagram shows requires a van to be parked before it will open. The personnel entrance is five levels lower, and judging by the shithole this sector is at ground level you imagine it's worse down there.

Shit, fine I'll start heading down. I'll have my AR at the ready, loaded with 10mm STD.

You pick your way through the rotting walkways and crumbling staircases with filthy water cascading down them. Occasionally you see scrawny residents peering out of thin windows. Emerging onto a roadway tunnel that's fairly clear you see a somewhat new looking door set into an unusually structurally sound looking wall. It has a swipe lock next to it and a little camera set into the door.

Urgh, shiny metal doors in the middle of shit holes always make me wary. Anyone else want to knock on it?

I'll knock on the door and get my SCL card out and hold it up to the camera.

The door shoots open, revealing a small room with another very similar door on the other side. This one has a retina scanner on.

I'll put my helmet on and start the rebreather.

Don't think I have a rebreather (unless a DeathSuit acts as one somehow), but I'm guessing the airlock is to avoid the facility being contaminated - so I'll step in.

I'll assume you're all getting in then. The door shuts, there's a red light bathes the room, a hiss of spray, a green light, and the other door opens. The spray smells like disinfectant.
Beyond the door is a rather tatty looking tiled locker room with metal locker doors set into the walls and a couple of concrete benches. There's a doorway opposite with another - this time much flimsier looking - metal door.

After perusing my character sheet, I realise I have a motion scanner and audio enhancements integrated into my DeathSuit.
Do I need to roll anything to use/get results from them?

I'm gonna be over-cautious and quickly check my environment scanner, too.

No, although you'll have to check your motion scanner like any other unless you have the HUD module (as opposed to me telling you stuff is on it).
