There's a big hairy bear of a man inside in lumberjack shirt, big boots and ushanka made from raccoon.
You're here with Aysun yeah? Then your stuff is paid for. Head on through to the back few rows, the cold weather stuff is there. You've got the heavy fluffy stuff and the fancy lightweight fabrics. Lemme know what you got and I'll tot it all up.
He waves his arm in the vague direction of the other end of the store.
Fab - A soft chime sounds as you wander into the smithy/mechanics. A small drone flits towards you and then projects a 3d hologram of the guy you saw earlier in the saloon.
Have a butchers at whatever you fancy, you leave the store with it you've bought it. Anything else call me direct on...
You get sent a comcode. The drone flits off. All around you are display stands filled with guns of all shapes and sizes. An AR sign appears next to each item as you gaze at the merchandise, giving you the price and tech specs of each item.
Clothing - pretty much every major brand is on the shelves, all pre-modified for extra insulation.
There's some form fitting body armour plates that have been fitted with gel packs that generate heat as opposed to offer any greater protection. These are ideal for slipping under tighter armour.
Also polar survival suits (p52 arsenal) for those who want to survive just about anything.
The giant fluffy coat/trouser sets are unbranded, using good old fashioned dead animal skins/feathers etc to keep you warm, they have a small negative movement modifier (Pants, its the same as your normal coat) a positive hiding modifier (as long as you're in snow).
Gear - specify how much you want and what type.
Anything such as gloves, rope, crampons, goggles or sunglasses with various light modes etc, snowshoes, skis, crevasse detectors, tent, backpack, sleeping bags, boots - just add them to the pile.
If that heating "armor" will fit under my Urban Explorer Jumpsuit, I'll go with that, otherwise the polar survival suit will have to do. No idea on the cost there, but I have enough I think.
I'll buy 5 sets of the rappelling gloves for everyone in the group to use so they can use my microwire rope without getting their fingers cut off along with another 100m of microwire rope for my grapple gun. 400¥
I'll get a pair of sunglasses with Flare Compensation, Thermographic Vision, Level 3 Image Enhancement, and Image Magnification if I can. 650¥
Last, I'll get a survival kit, some climbing gear, a flashlight, 10 lightsticks, 2 magnesium torches, and a polar tent. 665¥
The cost of the big fat animal covered jacket/pants is 250 nuyen. All the stuff deject is buying is coming from his cut unless he wants to talk with the rest of the team.
mountain man wrote:Rent? If you bring that back as good as when it leaves here then I'll look to give your sponsor recompense. If you don't like that then you best head outside and rub your hands together for warmth.
Rest of the gear is good to go.
I'll assume anyone who's not said anything by tomorrow is just taking a basic jacket/trouser combo and a set of goggles/glasses that do flare compensation. Except Jon who appear to want to wander into the wilds in a stompy robot.
Jon wrote:How much for one of them stampy bastards out there? I want. If I hop into it and wander off can you stick it on my tab? Some lass called Asian will cover it
Fab - The guy messages you back with the news that the stompy things are currently not for sale as they're in use around town clearing body piles and drones from where they've breached the outer defences.
Hernandez has joined you in the gun shop.
Okay Jasper, Hernandez, Alvrin and Smith have suited and booted, Jon hasn't. The toy vessel of Ingress5 is still in Smiths Gladstone bag.
Anyone want anything else or are you ready to move back down the tunnel towards Aysun's last known position?
