He's just been watching, although when they get into the van, he gets ready to follow them.

I'll pass this on to whoever is listening. Does it look like Xa is trying to tail this van?

Interesting. I'll pass that on too and keep an eye on them until backup arrives or they leave. Then I'l go back to where I was and keep an eye out for Alex.

If the van and Xa are heading back out of the verge, I'll send my dragonfly back after them.
Back and forth, back and forth.
As a sidenote, so it doesn't bite me in the ass later, when I have a free moment I'll head back and pick my bug up from that building.

I'll try to tail Xa from a distance, and see where they head to.

The van is not hanging about, and therefore neither is Xa. Your dragonflys top speed is a third that of Xa's bike, so they would quickly leave it behind. LEBD could keep up though.

Was it a dragonfly? If so, you could just send it a message through the matrix to come home.
EDIT:oh, and:

You mean astrally, right?

Yes, though I'd like to stay far away as that old guy is probably a shaman.

Just one of those bugs, the six-legged wall climbers. It'd take him years to get back to me.
Anyone think I should be shooting an LEBD up into the sky? They're about a foot or two wide and use propellers to get around, not exactly stealthy.

I'd keep a low profile personally, unless we're at risk of losing our mark.

So yes or no on the LEBD?
Also, Mr Deject, an assensing roll please!

Assensing (4) + Intuition (4): 3, 5, 4, 5, 2, 1, 3, 6: 3 hits.

Er, crap. Is there anywhere in the surrounding area for me to keep the LEBD in a low profile, or is it open air?

Bit of both. You are going across some busy areas, so its not like it would be the only drone in the air. Would need a test to stay out of sight. For simplicity, do the same test for drone sneekin you did before if you want to use it.

[5punk] Joose: right, well you have tracking 4, urban specialisation (+2), and I believe that's a intuition skill, so that's another 2.
Have another +2 for the guy being pretty distracted, what with him following someone else, so that's a total of 10 dice
[5punk] Joose: roll em!
5,4,1,5,5,3,4,1,5,6 =
5 Hits
BAM!

You follow them all the way to the Everett docks without issue. Xa is pretty good a tailing them discretely: you dont think you would have noticed him had you been the ones in the van.
As you all reach the docks, the van pulls up briefly in front of a depo gates. Two guys in suits step out of the shadows, and escort the van through the gates.
The Depo is a rectangular area fenced off by a 4-meter high fence and encompasses three large automated warehouses with multiple loading docks, two dockside container crane drones, and a two story office building. The name KondOrchid and a big flower logo are displayed prominently, both as physical signs and AR logos. On the drones feed, you can also see AR warning signs saying that the fence is electrified.
Not that Xa seems concerned. He parks his monocycle down a shady alley, quickly darts up a fire escape to the roof of a nearby building, and shoots some sort of rappeling line thing over the fence, dissapearing into the facility. The whole thing is done in a matter of seconds, and again if you had not been actively watching the guy you wouldnt have noticed. Sneaky bastard, so he is.
Leland: From astral you had a sneaky-peek at the guys in the van. None of them appeared awakened, but other than that it was hard to make out any details. As for the depo, all the industrial activity in the area has made astral a bit shitty (background count of 1) and you can see two horse 8 fire spirits doing circuits of the place. They are only on the astral though, not manifesting.

I'll head back to my body and get in touch with N-Zo about the warehouse and what goes on there, as well as let everyone know about the fire spirits.
Leland to N-Zo wrote:Hey N-Zo, we tracked Xa to a warehouse, where he snuck in. I wasn't going to go any farther, the place was guarded by a couple fire spirits. No doubt they have strong regular security as well. Can you see what you can dig up on the warehouse?
Leland to the others wrote:Be careful around that warehouse, it's secured by two high level fire spirits. If they spot you I don't think I'd be able to do much before you got roasted. They aren't manifesting so you won't know they're there.

Yeah I'm not in any mood to follow him in there. I'm not a fan of fighting spirits.
