Both those titles stir vague recollections. I think they were part of a series on Channel Four introduced by Alex Cox, along with (obviously) Repo Man.

I miss Alex Cox on TV. He made it worth watching films broadcast on TV, but then there was no downloading or getting DVDs in the post at the time.
I've seen Hardware and it's bad, but sort of good.
