You say you've been in the factory - how did you get in there? Is there an entrance nearby? Also, what does Keane look like?

What about the van I mentioned? I will have had people in suits in it

Right, give me the details and I'll see what we can do. Name, location, likelihood of being surrounded by armed guards etc
Of course I'll want to check this target actually is DN in the first place.

I'll give Haynes a call.
Dirk wrote:Mr H, don't suppose there are any outstanding BPNs or warrants for a DarkNight op called Emery Buchanan? Assuming he is a DN op that is.

Haynes takes a few minutes of tappety tapping, but comes back blank.
Haynes wrote:Nothing shows up on the system. Looks like there's a hit nearby you on the benefits register, Emery Buchanan, 26, male, typical criminal record for a Downtowner. If he'd been flagged as DN he'd have been brought in by now though. Maybe try the Shivers, they sometimes know the local characters but leave them alone so they can keep an eye on them. Look out for bigger fish, as it were. I'll send you his address anyway.
Matches up with what Paddy (who has now fallen asleep) said.

I shall make a similar call to the local Shiver department, asking them what they have on file for this guy. Also on Paddy, just to see

On Buchanan they have a small-time rap sheet, mostly disorder and minor violence. The sergeant doesn't insinuate anything more than that. Paddy is interesting, they have a scattered list of burglaries and stolen goods offences. Nothing recent, but it looks like he was quite the light-fingered rogue in his past.

I shall prod Paddy into something resembling being awake.

I really think paddy is a dead end. Possibly also one with paranoid delusions.

Well he's told us the location of the Snapper's facility, what the owner looks like and a potential secret entrance to bunker. I think it's worth following the lead up. The original plan was to follow the Snapper boss to the TT demo, but there could be a dozen secret exits out of that place - our only action at the moment is to sit around hoping that we recognise the boss and then follow him out (and we wouldn't even know what he looked like if it weren't for Paddy).

Both the Johannas and DarkNight are scared of the Snappers at the moment, so they're probably well tooled up - any direct assault would probably be a bad idea. If we, or rather Deej, can sneak into the place then we can probably get a heads up on where the demo should be taking place. I'd rather be there before or after two groups of heavily armed people converge.

If you want me to have another go at the entrances to the factory I can try.

You mean the facility that is under the snappers bar? And the secret entrance in the pipes that I suspect are the ones we blundered into earlier?

Also, I don't think there actually are any DN. I think that's just Paddy either trying to manipulate us or being crazy.

The ones we found were covered by cameras - I doubt the Snappers would have been happy about Paddy sauntering around the facility if they'd seen him
Paddy wrote:Thessa pipe! Snappers dunno about it, see. Goesh into th' old fattory.
The Snappers don't know about it.

I doubt very much that this Emery guy is DN, but if we can convince him to leave Paddy alone then we might get something out of him. Or someone could horse the info out of Paddy, but Dirk isn't keen on that.
