Haynes, Dirk. I believe Mr. Daniels has been on - don't suppose he's offering some big corporate bucks for this is he?
I reckon we head to the facility by taxi and walk from about 200m out (actually I'm not very good with measurements, so whatever sounds best). Don't suppose you've got a map of the area have you, deej?
Dirk wrote:Sorry Mr. D, one more thing - do you have building blueprints and an area layout of the facility? If so can you ping them over to deject's Oyster?
We may already have all that, but I can't remember.

About five minutes later Deject receives a blueprint of the factory, complete with electrical, data, and ventilation diagrams, as well as a navamap file for the sector.
Haynes wrote:I wouldn't say big. I've negotiated 200c for the work so far, and another 200c retainer for your services payable on termination of the contract, with reasonable effort made for completion of immediate investigations relating to violent Doobrie behaviour and within one week. Additionally I've tied them to a performance bonus based on resulting damage to Karma assets (or lack of) and/or negative publicity for them (or lack of). It's variable, plus or minus 500c bar extreme circumstances. Finally, they're holding in reserve a standard sponsorship contract from Karma or one of their subsidiaries should you want it. I'm not quite sure why yet, but word from a friend of mine is they've got an opening for a new product spotlight and your squad's name has been mentioned. All contracts are per individual.
How does that sound?

Let's do this!

I shall take the lead and head to the facility. I suppose the front doors will do fine for getting in.

Such as there are front doors, yeah. There's a personnel entrance and a cargo entrance. The cargo entrance opens on an IFF from a Karma van, acknowledged from a button-pusher in some office in Suburbia, and is at the top of a freight elevator on ground level. The personnel entrance is an airlock style affair on level 5 with a swipe card for the first door and a retina scan for the second. There's an alarm and lockout system in there but the plans aren't specific on what the lock or unlock criteria are.

The facility itself is three levels and seems to have a sort of dual build of human sized corridors and rooms, with larger areas below where (according to the electrical charts) heavy work goes on.

Well, let's make a call.
Mr Daniels, can we get access to these entrances? It looks like the personnel entrance needs swipe and retina scan authentication. I'd rather avoid damaging anything doing a B&E on your stuff.

I would like to take full responsibility for this bit of epic luck.

When we reach the facility, getting the Chainaxe ready to charge at anything that looks at us funny. With minimal damage wanted, shooting the mangler on full spray is probably a bad idea.

*Edit* In fact...

You all gots hand-ta-hand stuff, you rememba how ta use it?
I know you all have c-c weapons of some kind, this is SLA after all, it makes for better footage.

Grimmie looks distraught, and for a short while, confused that you would choose close combat over guns.

Thank you kindly.
Unless there's something else to do, I'll head up to the cargo entrance and look for a pushbutton or something.

There's nothing, just a very well armoured shutter door with a small camera set back into the top of the frame and a van sized metal plate on the ground.

I'll give the door three good solid knocks. If there is no response I'll head to the personnel entrance.

The personnel entrance is five levels below you, through the (upper) tunnels of Lower Downtown.

Right, I thought we were already there. Is the personnel entrance here then, or is that also 5 levels down?

If the personnel entrance is near then I'll check that out, otherwise, if we're at the exterior of the facility I'll check for any potential entry points.
