I'm guessing this place doesn't have a super-friendly porter that will open doors for us, huh?
Can I tell if the door is secured with the kinda lock that will ping off when shot at, or rammed?

It's an electronic lock. Unless you've any kind of relevant skill, that's all you can tell.

Grim gives a little shrug.

I'll just check these bullet holes in this helpful chaps apartment and see what I can see.
Forensics: 6,9,+5 = 20

and a Detect for good measure: 2,1,+8 = 11 Ooh, not so hot on the detecting there

Looking at those and other bulletholes you can pinpoint the locations of several firing points: the middle of the corridor where the blood is, the end of the corridor, and two doorways towards the other end.

Yeah figured we weren't done around here yet...
hmm boot through the door. So are we in or do we just have a nifty little hole to peak through?
Where is the landlord around here? Surely they will have an extra key somewhere. I know, I know... kicking is way more fun though.

There's a head sized hole in the middle of the door.

Grimmie crouches down and peers through to check if there are any nasties inside, or anything glaringly obviously not right.

Detect
7,1 +3 = 11
Grimmie wrote:Eraser, think you can smash the lock off, instead of just making holes?

It looks like a pretty sleazy apartment in there. No guard pigs or shotgun traps that you can see.

Damn, a guard pig. Wish I'd thought of that earlier.

Glad there aren't any shotgun traps. Don't think my FACE could take one of those.
I'd make a guard pig into delicious bacon though, shit yeah. That stuff is rare.
If I made a strength roll, would I be able to lop the electronic lock off with a decent roll, despite not being made out of bricks like Eraser?
Grimmie wrote:Oh look. A messy apartment. I am both astounded and amazed.

You could try.

Gonna smash it! RAAAH!
Grimmie takes a step back, flexes, then lays into the electronic lock full-horse.

Strength
10,1 +10 = 21

Did anyone try just opening it first?
I got dibs on any TV.
