Been meaning to get around to watching that, now they've started a third series. Great theme tunes for all three. The second movie bored me stupid, though the first one was aces.

The first series of the TV show was pretty good, some outstanding episodes. I must watch the second series. Can anyone explain what "2nd GIG" means?
edit: And yes, I know it means the second series but why "GIG"?

According to wiki and the big article in Neo, it just means gig, like a music concert as a slang term for series. May be a pun on Production I.G. but nothing is specifically mentioned.
