Its just sad that...Michael Bay has EVERYTHING at his disposal for any movie he does...especially, this one since it was going to make money no matter what he did and then puts out a mediocre movie.

When he was done with it...I wonder what his thoughts were..."I'm GOD", "It doesn't get better than this!", "Can't wait to accept my award for this one" or...."Good Enough"

The problem with Michael Bay is that he makes trash for the lowest common denominator, it's no different than pop music.

Mostly non-offensive cotton wool coated crap for idiots who don't have any taste, They'll go and watch anything with an explosion, buy a wheelybin of popcorn and a bucket of ice with some coke in it for £35.

Annoyingly, that's a fair percentage of the population, so a great deal of movies get made to please them.

Knowing (2009)

Something is definitely wrong with me cuz I liked this movie also. Its been happening way too often for me.

Yes, it had some faults but nothing to piss me off. The plane and train crash was just awesome!!1! I wish I could have seen them on an IMAX screen. (or a 50"HD w/surroundsound...I miss my old roommate :( )

It would have been nice if they explained a few things and the ending was a bit weak...but overall, definitely decent.

Halloween- Rob Zombie (2007)

Well a friend of mine kept telling me to watch it cuz it was "great". I will forgive him this time as its a first offense.

Actually, it started off quite good. They explored his childhood and kept you interested then anxiously waiting to see what's next when he gets older. Well, 1/2 way thru the movie and "15 years later"...it was just sad and disappointing. Its like it was 2 different movies and the second one you'd demand your money back.

Although, Mom was quite the hot stripper, the rest of the gratuitous teen sex/deaths were forgetable.

Watch it till he turns into an adult...then just shut it off...

Nothing pissed you off, really? The pathetic plot, the wooden acting, the worst cop out of a plot twist I've seen in ages? Seriously, Knowing is probably the worst movie I've seen in years. The only redeeming bits are the disaster scenes. The plane crash in particular was pretty good, that doesn't make up for Nick Cage's pathetic attempt to emote nor the retarded daddy issues subplot that was briefly mentioned in the most unsubtle way by Cage, then basically completely ignored for the rest of the movie. There was no point to it.

The plot twist, weak-ass space aliens? really?, actually made me angry. I called it about an hour into the movie and it's just pathetic. I just don't get how anyone can like this movie.

 Musta been the drugs I guess. Maybe thats why I haven't been pissy lately.

Seriously though, I agree with most everything you said but for some reason...watching this movie with bad expectations (and the drugs) made it an okay movie for me, but I guess the only really good parts of the movie was the 2 tragedies.

The one thing I disagree with you is this is definitely not the worse movie in years...a recent one I can remember...The Happening (2008) (recent cuz I just watched it).

Ah, but I said it was the worst movie I've seen in years, and there are quite a few movies I've purposely avoided, including The Happening.

Very very few movies have actually made me angry at it, and Knowing is one of those.

Inkheart

Started off good then quickly turned into a kid movie (no offense to kids). Paul Bettany was the best part of this movie. His character/acting brought realism and emotions to the story. Definitely stole the spotlight from Encino Man. No weasin' the juice...

I watched this a few weeks ago. Seems to be missing a plot that's any good. Shameful use of a quaid.

Right, best get on with a few I've viewed in the past month or I'll never bother.

I went on a uwe boll fest to see which of his was the worst.

Alone in the dark - My how slater has fallen. Got that reid bird with the wonky nipples in, sex scene is performed to a song about the violence poor kids in Africa see, very fitting boll. 3/10

Bloodrayne II:deliverance Well, it doesn't have lokens tits. It doesn't have any acting. It doesn't even have a hollywood star slumming it for the pay cheque. 2/10

Far CryThis isn't that bad. got a few faces/names you'll recognise. Even boll's usual ability to provide shit cuts of bad screenplay is minimal. Acting is still shit though. And he decided to make Jack a fucking kraut. 5/10

House of the Dead. Fucking terrible, it has tits and ass and some really really bad zombie things. There's lots of things better than this. Such as violent anal rape from a donkey. 2/10 it gets those because of booby.

Okay, enough of the boll-ocks.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Pretty good, explosions, acting etc are all shiny. Plot isn't exactly heavy on the brain but so fucking what. 7/10

Babylon A.D. Bit meat headed compared to the book. Just another slick action flick. Forgets the bits about questioning the supremacy of man and the ascension to dystopian godhood etc. Still a well made action flick. 7/10

Outlander. Not too bad. Reminds me of the 13th warrior. Has Jim 'I'm jesus' cavazavazavlilel in. Alien fx are good. 6/10

The Mutant Chronicles. Big names, big let down. Story is quite good. But it takes almost the entire length of the film to actually do anything at all. Then it's all over very quickly, little explanation, little exposition. Some FX are veh good some are just piss. has Ron Perlman in, he seems to enjoy working on shit films. 6/10

The Devil's Tomb (2009)

I accidentally bumped into this while poking around looking for movies Henry Rollins is in, as they're usually hilariously bad.

I wasn't disappointed, the cast is wasted, the plot is present and shit.

Good way to kill 90 minutes, worth watching if you like bad movies.

4/10
