I can't believe how much everything's changed! I've said it before but fuck me, this gets better!

Nice episode, plenty of action and wow moments, but given the setting, I was thinking "yeah, butbut..." all the way through.

Pity the absolute best bit of the entire series so far was mostly behind a closed door, though.

That was, indeed, Fucking Whin™.

However, one major question:
Spoylarz wrote:Future Hiro said that when he had stabbed sylar, it hadn't worked, because he could regenerate. But if past hiro had successfully saved claire, and she was alive, then how did sylar heal from the stabbing?
Mrs Joose has demanded it be known that this is her question :)

my theory type spoiler wrote:The whole "future" thing is only a possible future - otherwise future Hiro would remember jumping forwards and seeing his future self shot.

I think that if Hiro is successful in his quest, then that future will never occur (cue a thousand paradox).

I personally try not to over analyse the show. If you look on the official forum it's full of people quoting Einstein and Hawkings, but they all overlook one simple fact - it's just a bloody TV show. A damn good one mind, but still just a TV show.

Mr Nakamura wrote:Yes, it's definately more XMen than Star Trek - I thought they were doing quite well, but the last ep had a few things I couldn't resolve* - even if Sylar gained time travel at some point, or if timelines were changed merely by people telling others about the other one, so I just sat back and watched the fireworks.

I think the stringy time map at Mister Isaac's highlighted this, with Hiro moving stuff around and Suresh cutting it, it wasn't trying to be an accurate map for us viewers to analyse - it was saying: "Time Travel: It's complicated".

*Based on what we know now.

I wrote:I too went for the option of accepting it as a possible future if Hiro fails, and stopped trying to overanalyse it. Its also a shame that the best fireworks were behind a closed door, but I suppose they want to save the ultimate show-down for the final episode.

The latest episode is slow or just generally? I've not seen Ep21 yet. Although the one before was awesome, lots of stuff going on. Reminded me of the episode of Red Dwarf were two copies of the ship are created, one with evil versions of the crew.

Episode 21 is pretty good, but it's mostly just build up to the next episode (which is the season finale I think).

Two more episodes left - Landslide and How To Stop An Exploding Man.

I think that they may both be shown on the same night.

I thought it was 3 more episodes, with the last 2 being combined into How To Stop An Exploding Man.

:above: This I reckon. On a tenuously related note, Lost has 3 more seasons left, and is planned to finish in 2010. Knowing it has an end point means I might keep watching it. Not enjoying it nearly as much as I used too, but it still makes me chuckle occasionally when something absurd happens, like polar bears or a monster in the form of black smoke.

Yup, that was a good ep :excited:

Apparently there's gonna be more seasons of heroes, and a spin-off series to select a new hero for season 3.

It's not all that absurd, as you would know if you'd ever been around Berk after curry night.

Think a fire in a tyre dump, but more sulfurous/beefy. :bleh:
