This thing with the roof concerns me though. To be honest though, I just want to get the fuck out of here. If you guys reckon ghost man can help, be my guest, but I reckon we just get a move on with delivering the 'package'.

As for the ghost, I read some books but Leland is the only one who can really do jack with it, it's your call on that front Leland. If some nasty shit has happened then a bit of paranormal help may just save us, even though I'm loathe to trust anything other than the guys around me and my equipment.
Still, our end goal is the same, this place needs clearing and blowing up and whatever we face, good or bad, that's what I intend to achieve.

Well, technically, you could communicate with it by just standing about and shouting. However, if you really want to make sure it hears you, I guess its either a summoning ("come here!") or binding ("pay attention to me!") test. As you have neither of these skills, it'll default to a Magic test, opposing the spirits willpower.

onwards and downwards then.
You can see pretty clearly down the stairwell, its pretty gloomy down there but you can make out the floor and doors fine. There's some rubbish littering the floor, but its mostly clear. The door at the bottom is wide open, the first basement level door has some heavy cloth of some sort hung up over it.

Think I'll turn my eye and ear recording stuff on again, turn my ears up high to pick up the slightest bit of breathing/shuffling etc, but not for too long as it gets a bit disorienting. Thought impulse the gun to safety off and I'm set.Frank wrote:Okay, now it gets interesting, the ground isn't too broken up, so we can maintain a decent speed. You want point chopper or do you want me and my shotty to lead on? Leland, you gonna sweep in astro mode or we going as is? Either way, it's quiet as church mice again, we are in the home territory of whatever lives here, lets reduce the advantage as much as we can.

Don't worry, my gun has all your pans programmed in, it won't shoot you even if I mess up, it thinks faster than I do.
We go at Choppers pace, keep the spacing, let chopper gain a few metres but not out of sight, don't bunch on corners, watch different angles instead of staring straight ahead and we should be fine.
Damn I need a smoke.
