i can't say that, having never seen it. but most vietnam films are a bit generic. that doesn't make them bad films though.

I saw it once, that was enough. Not exactly easy to watch if I recall.

I really need to watch that again, I've only seen it once when I was in my early teens.

In fairness, I was expecting someone to get Jacob's Ladder much sooner (the first shot is at the very start of a chapter, and I'd assumed a bunch of people here would have seen it)... and it didn't take long for someone to get Gattaca.
