You fly better, but talk three times more bollocks. Despite it all we had some pretty good success last night. I was getting pissed off with the command channel constantly flipping between begging and accusing people of not being team players in an attempt to get people onto whichever continent was being zerged at the time though, which was invariably not ours.

I wouldn't have said offensive at all, but you do have an unhealthy obsession with Galaxies.

I swear my computer deletes a random file from planetside every time I play, never get away without patching.

They come in batches. You'll get no patches for a week, then a big patch, then half a dozen little ones. I think they introduce the smaller features gradually, which probably isn't a bad idea. I noticed the Lancer didn't appear until the weekend despite the patch landing on tuesday. Incidentally, the Lancer is accurate and has a lot of ammo (12 I think), but doesn't do a lot of damage. Probably not bad for long range attrition scraps.

Today I learned concrete bridges have a support structure underneath that you can walk across.

Today I also learned that fucking about under a bridge can stall an oncoming zerg as tank drivers freak out about you moving freely around them. :)

That's a lot of Sunderers. Also, that guy doesn't seem to have much concern for friendly fire. I like his UI though.

We contributed to taking Amerish tonight. Very interesting to see the big outfits which form TVA working together - RPS and MDK locking down the NC in the south, UBAD and BURP in the north. There was a MAX rush on Ikanam Bio, which had been NC all night, and finally dislodged them. We were holding the gates of Secure Mining up by the TR warpgate with (I think) ISK. A small contribution, but it meant the big outfits could concentrate on pushing the last few areas.

Twas quite enjoyable not being in the zerg and just being small/mobile enough to deal with problems as they came up.

A Galaxy full of 5punkers doing the rapid response thing did seem to work well.

Indeed, I think we ended up being much more effective than 5 people would be usually due to a combination of picking our fights and getting into areas before enemies took control.
