Re: SLA Industries: Hunting the Machine
If I stand behind Eraser, will his hiding counteract mine?

Re: SLA Industries: Hunting the Machine
Of course it will, you will be completely obscured. However, Eraser will become very obvious.

I guess I kinda assumed that is what generally should happen given that deej is the squad's scout but whatever.

Handbags at dawn later, crisis evasion now.

Well, should we just go for it or try something else? I honestly don't know what we should do.
Re: SLA Industries: Hunting the Machine
Well if you've no other ideas you can always wait. Joose arranged to come back to talk about the 'goods'.

I think you can take that as a yes - we've bluffed all we can, and I don't think we'll be getting in down through the sewers without some proper planning. Anyone opposed to heading back on up to continue our stake-out till the meet is due?

Yeah, I'm not in the mood to shoot it out with these guys, especially since I bet we'd get our asses handed to us.Grimmie wrote:I think you can take that as a yes - we've bluffed all we can, and I don't think we'll be getting in down through the sewers without some proper planning. Re: SLA Industries: Hunting the Machine
It does beg the question though: what are we going to do once we have waited? I go in, have a nice little chat and look at their things and then....what? At the moment the only suggestion I have is me trying to distract them a bit with waffle, then you guys run in and pwn them.

Only if I can intimidate him into surrendering with my cutting wit. Hal would have problems fighting his way out of a wet paper bag.

Re: SLA Industries: Hunting the Machine
Oh yes, I had a flashback on TS the other night - I thought the point of following the drunk guy home was so that he could tell us who the owner of the bar was, then we could have gone straight to him without having to wait until the meet.
I completely forgot about that.

We can go back if you want.
Re: SLA Industries: Hunting the Machine
Are you emerging from the sewers and finding Paddy again then?

I think so - the sewers haven't been as fruitful as I expected.
