I'm in the jungle near Fab's place, in a rubber tree currently. Shame we don't have the treecapitator-type mode.

Can anyone give me directions? I may have been flying around though and am not actually spawning where the rest of you are, I placed two wooden blocks on the ground next to where I am spawning. There's a huge black volcano nearby, which I have climbed, but I can't see man-made structures in any direction.

I may have made the volcano with my water/lava-shooting gismos, but my inventory is empty now.

The world is new, however I've just discovered that the Nether is as we left it (going through other gates spawns you in new places)

Can't seem to reset the nether gates, suspect the map might be buggered (unless there's some way to wipe the nether?)

I'm around -200 +700, Fab is nearby and Joose is making a boat base to the north-west. There's another base and quarry here as well, but I don't know whose that is.

Be warned if going underwater: Swimming upwards is much slower than it used to be

Minecraft 1.3.1 patch notes wrote:Removed the downwards knockback while drowning.
Which doesn't help. Tekkit is 1.2.5.

Here's some useful things that people may not be aware of:

Iron Chests - Upgradable capacity chests, from basic copper up to diamond and crystal. The latter making the large capacity diamond chest transparent and shows contents.
Teleport Tether - Keeps a chunk loaded when at least one person is on the server. Useful to keep the server from unloaded the chunk your machine is in and stopping production. Also not useful for the same reason as I guess there's a risk of lag.
Energy Link - Power Buildcraft machines (quarry) with IC2 EU. As electrical engines have been removed, as they are part of the Forestry mod, which is gone.
