Yeah, and considering the cost of a control rig it'd be an expensive, pointless add-on too.
So is this like a stand off or something? Are we both waiting for the other person to move?
Can I check the motion sensors on my drone to see if there's any movement?
Does my atmosphere sensor let me analyse the gas, or is it too simple?

Cant imagine what atmospheric sensors would be for if they cant do things like this, so sure! I wont make you roll for it though.
The sensors are still picking up traces of Neuro-Stun, but its at safe levels and already starting to go inert.

It claims it's for weather forecasting, so I guess it analyses pressure, odd though.
Nikolai over comms wrote:They try to stun you, Chopper!
Gas cleared, anybody want to stick toes in now?
He turns to Al.

Al wrote:Erm, da. Yeah. Shall we try a more subtle approach guys? A back door, sewer or roof entrance? Or else we could just wait for a tramp to come out. If they ever do. Suppose I could go in pretending to be a tramp, although I don't fancy becoming bug-spirit chow if that's what this is fronting.

Chopper sidles cautiously towards the door.
I'll do an Infiltration roll just in case:
Infiltration (3) + Agility (5) = 8
2,4,4,2,2,3,4,6,+0 = 1 hit - Chopper you clumsy fuck.
Edit: didn't see your post Doggers,
ignore everything I just said!

In that case I'll check the roof. How high is this building?
Climbing (4) + Strength (4) + Gecko gloves (2) = 10
1,6,5,4,3,4,2,5,1,6 = 4 hits

Its two story, so lets say 25 feet. That makes it an extended test with a target number of 37. However, as we are not in combat or anything, i wont make you roll a bunch of times just to see how long it takes you
The roof is pretty uninteresting. No skylights or anything, just a couple of broken aircon units. There is a roof access door, looks like its not the original door. Big metal thing. Its got an old style regular lock on it though, not a maglock.
Make a security knowledge check, and a building design check.

Frank will head to Nik's van and put on his full armour/clip his helmet to his belt (sounds painful) Then grab his backpack of stuff and join Chopper.
Strength 6 + Climbing 1 + gecko gloves 2 = 9 pfft I managed to roll 1,1,4,5,5,5,5,6,6 so 6 hits.
This DnD die roller is dishing them out. Wait until the shit hits the fan!

When Frank opens the doors to the van Nik's waiting there and flashes his hands above his head.
Nikolai wrote:BOOM! Ha ha ha ha! Hello comrade!
I'll fire Stalin out and go zooming up by Chopper.
I have 'structural design' as a knowledge skill - how do you do rolls for knowledge skills again?

Building Structures (2) + Intuition (3) = 5
2,2,1,1,5 = 1 hit
Security Procedures (2) + Intuition (3) = 5
2,1,1,6,4 = 1 hit
Grimmie wrote:

Knowledge Skill plus either Logic or Intuition (page 85).

Structural design (3) + Logic (5)
2,1,3,6,1,3,2,4 = 1 hit
+ Ventilation Systems specialisation (2)
6,2 = 1 hit

The security design on this place is a bit odd. Its a bit patchy, like whoever put it together was a security expert once, but is massively out of date. The physical stuff is pretty good, but the surveillance part is shitty. For instance, there doesn't seem to be any sensors on the roof.
The door is pretty solid, but you could probably knock the lock off or pick it. On the other hand, you need to watch where you step, the roof is kinda fragile looking. There are walkways though.

Nimbly darting over the walkways, once I get to the door I shall attempt to smash the lock.
Strength: doubled with chisel = 8
4,1,4,6,4,1,3,5 = 2 hits

If Chopper fails Frank will have a pop.
strength 6 doubled with chisel = 12
6,2,4,4,5,3,4,3,6,6,5,3 = 5 hits.
Frank wrote:Chopper, if we're walking into our grave because of some shit that you're involved in and you're not going to mention it right now, rest assured I will kill you before they do. Just saying.

Forget? Pah, I was talking to Joose about it before the run!
Once I get home I may let Chopper update you. To be fair though, he's not 100% sure what it's about yet. We may need that receptionist for questioning. Or a newspaper.
