I'm thinking I might be better in this case going melee, depending on how evil looking the baddies look. so I might just pop off a round before switching.
As the motion tracker shows the blob nearing, you start to hear it. I think some of you have heard it before, and even those who haven't recognise the squeaking and scratching of rats. By the looks and sounds of it there's an awful lot of them.
No, but I do love that movie. *Makes note for next time*
In fact, it's a river of rats. Big rats, but that's common by Mort standards. They hit you like a wave, threatening to knock you off your feet (well, vaguely). STR rolls please.
I wasn't really expecting anyone to fail, and I don't think it was even worth K'Trr and Eraser rolling. The rats swarm around your legs for a good ten seconds or so, the weight of them is noticeable and you can feel them scratching and biting at your armour. Then suddenly they're gone again, leaving only the receeding sound of their squeaking and scratching.
Dirk is heading back to the Shiver station - I'm going to try and trace the connection between the victims and hope that something comes up.
Dirk to Shiver sergeant wrote:Can you tell me if someone has been collating a record of all these deaths? Specifically the ones with the cuts to the face? I'm guessing there'll be a separate file for the old killings that was closed off once the squad of Ops took care of their suspect.
I need you to put together a list for me of all recent victims in chronological order with all their details. I'd do it myself but I'm not too good with computers. My colleagues are currently off hunting Subterraneans so hopefully that will ease you workload.
Yo Deej, now you've finished rat surfing would you be able to do a computer search for the info I was looking for? i.e. victims in chronological order of death, personal details etc.
