This.

The AI is constantly surprising me, the way other people in the game act is startlingly human and often I just stand around watching them interact without me.

Best bits so far:
Someone prangs my custom low-rider - my own car, not stolen - and keeps running into it in a rage, so I drag their ass out and aim a gun at their head. To my surprise they put their hands up and calm down quickly. I shoot them.

Casually walking down the street, I see four of my gang drag a Ballas out of his car, throw him to the ground and shoot the hell out of him.

I crash on the freeway and my car burst into flames as more cars hit me, unable to stop in time. The explosion caused by my car sets off others while still more cars pile into the wreck. Result: a 12 car pile up with corpses still sat at the wheels of the burnt out shells.

Wrong. Betting him $1000, playing and winning, over and over to gain more money. This was before I was able to start a gang war, mind.

I particularly enjoy cycling towards oncoming cars and bunnyhopping over them at the last second.

Not to mention flying the Harrier jumpjet thing around.
