It's good to know they're gonna look at price, but for now better quality seems a lousy excuse for batteries costing twice as much.

y'know, I can accept the cheaper ones might not take as many recharges, and might only put out 2600mah. but not enough to warrant paying the extra.

edit: I like these lot for li-ion batteries and having that handy looking charger in stock.

edit 2: the GP pdf tells me the 2700s are actually 2600mah, which seems really cheap.

Isn't Wii Play included for free? I thought that's what I saw advertised elsewhere. That's the most expensive *free* controller ever if I'm right.

Wii Sports comes with it in the £180 package, along with a single mote and a single chuk. Wii Play is £35 and includes a mote controller, can't be bought new without one AFAIK. Mote controllers cost around £30.

I guess you decide for yourself if that's a free mote or a game for a fiver.

Ah yes, my bad. Yeah that seems a rather good deal then. If I was taking a telly with me to university I would be extremely tempted by a Wii, but as is I will never use it enough to justify it.

I has teh Wii :boogie:

Still no wireless internets though, so I'll post my Wii number once I get online with Wireless Sky Broadband which I'm abotu to switch over to.

I know it's early days, but I think it rocks, and I love the fact you can pick up and play it for 30 minute intervals and get enough of a gaming fix to keep you happy. :)

Hopefully I can get it online before the end of June, otherwise I need to pay for the Internet Channel

This ^

I've got my PC for long games, but the Wii is ace for a quick jump about and Mrs Pants (and her mate next door) loves it too. As anyone who's heard me on TS recently can probably attest.
