I'm downloading this now since I'm a sucker for MMORPGs. But how's the leveling grind in this?

Seems to be a mix of kill x of these monsters for a prize, and dig up x of these things for a prize. The real fun's had in messing about with the randoms, standing in the middle of town with the word 'bummers!' hovering over your head.

I'm downloading this now too (kinda slowly). Any recommendations on character type etc. (since I'm far too lazy to RTFM)?

No idea myself. I don't even know what the stats are, and the tutorial is so long-winded that I ended up just clicking through it.

Schoolgirl or Bull seem quite simple. They're fiiightin' types.
It's best to read through the website briefly and take note of the tutorial though, as they dont tend to teach you new things as you go along. As with most of these things they give you the basics at the start and then let you go wild.

This game is turning out to be quite amusing:

Image
Me bumming Stoat

Image
Me shouting 'WILLIES!' in a random person's tent.

Image
Me advertising a golf sale in the middle of a shop.

The statues with the alternating limp wrists lose their effect in a screenshot, but they're brilliant. As is the homoerotic billboard in Metropolis.

Yay!

Replicatable BSOD causing issue :w00t:

When playing Trickster and have Daemon Tools open, if you try to use any of the DT menus, DT will crash out with a SCSI error. (fortunately, the mounted drives still work)

Unfortunately, the problem comes if you try to re-open DT when Trickster is running. Well, happy little BSOD.

Well, seems like I won't be playing this.

Apparently there's a Chinese-language version of Trickster, so anyone with a Chinese IP (apparently Hong Kong counts) is blocked from using international Trickster. And I don't know how to say "WILLIES!" in either traditional or simplified Chinese. :(

edit: and I can't even find a link to the sodding Chinese version.
