Sounds like it might have been a sticky end for Faith.

I guess Thor heads back with the caravan? Hunting anything as it gets dark is a foolish option with his human eyes, but he can note where Faith was headed and perhaps get the band back together in the daylight to find out what happened there. He explains to Bryce that's he hoping to exchange the wild bear for a tame one with a guy he met back at the camp.

The journey back's fairly quiet with the absence of Faith, nobody's quite sure what to say.

You draw a bit of a crowd on the way through the Camps, children running behind the cart to look at the big, mean forest bear. Some follow all the way to the circus and ask after your name.

Damon's pleased with the size of your catch. He does seem a bit put out that the bear's got a wound from the sleep arrow, but it can all be put right with a healing spell, and he's got plenty of casters on his books that can put right the damage done. The animals are kept in a separate tent around the back of the main big top, and he leads you to two of his tame old bears - a stout, greying black bear male with a thick mane and yellowing teeth and an female grizzly with long, tangled fur. Both are ready for retirement.
