FatherJackZ on PS3 for me, think it's just me and Tezz if it's not cross-compatible.

I think when the online bit goes live it'll start affecting the share prices on the BAWSAQ* market, but not the offline-only LCN ones. Your in-game actions can affect both of them, most notably Lester's assassination missions, I think the only BAWSAQ one is the Hotel one (the first one that starts at the 'L') which affects Betta Pharmaceuticals, so it might be worth doing that one and then selling off any BAWSAQ shares you have before Oct 1st when stuff could go crazy.

*Good to see the Scottish humour has survived.

We were chatting about the stock market in work yesterday actually. It appears that the BAWSAQ is already affected by players' actions in the offline game, the only caveat being that they have registered for the Rockstar social club. Right now there's a thread on Reddit (sorry Grimmie) where people have decided to do a 'pump and dump' on Hawk and Little (HAL). Many people buy shares in a company, artificially inflating the price of a low cost stock and agree to sell at a certain amount. If you're on the ball you can make a quick buck but you have to sell before they crash. We were also taking about how the Ammunation shares are crashing currently and whether they'll shoot up again on launch day, when everyone is buying weapons and ammo.

Completely missed the first page of this before, I've now joined the club. I'm certain Rockstar won't have a problem about the logo - have you seen the in-game Republican Space Ranger's logo?

Here in all its beauty is MrJ's bullet cock!

Anybody had any luck getting online for any amount of time? First impressions? I got a few hours in a couple of days ago, but then my character was wiped (and took all of my single player guns with it). Hopefully it'll be sorted soon.

And it was you that finally broke the end of my resolve not to pay lots of money for the game and it's winging its way to me so I'll be wearing a cock soon :)

I think I might have a tiny tinker with my cock(logo) to make it more wearable.

Right, I had an attempt at a more t-shirt friendly logo but it takes a while to publish so it's not showing up just yet. Let me know what you think and if I should change it back or not.

I think a new patch was released this morning as I managed to join the first race online with no issues.

I lost my character yesterday and it still hasn't returned.

Not overly gutted, but I'm hearing that people have gone through about 3+ characters now since it went back up, so I doubt it's entirely fixed just yet.

Hmm, I spotted it earlier (good work btw! :D) but I think the entire Social Club server is messed up at the moment.

I noticed you can customize the rank names you get in GTA V online, these are the standard ones:

Rank 1-10: Thug
Rank 11-20: Hustler
Rank 21-30: Soldier
Rank 31-40: Trigger
Rank 41-50: Enforcer
Rank 51-60: Facilitator
Rank 61-70: Public enemy
Rank 71-80: Shot Caller
Rank 81-90: Street Boss
Rank 91-100: Kingpin

I think we can do a lot better so put your suggestions on here and I'll adapt the names.

I've been through three GTAO characters so far, one seems to have stuck but it's not my favourite one. I also lost all of my single player characters' weapons so had to reload an older save. Annoying, so I decided to give it a wide berth over the weekend. According to the patch ("title update") notes, the most recent update claims to have fixed this issue amongst many others. As far as crew ranks go, maybe something in line with the forum ranks? Or something altogether more juvenile?
