Yep, there certainly is. In fact with a roll like that you seem to remember that receiving routine BPNs like this isn't that unusual for those without financiers, although financiers do tend to go for more interesting ones.

The factory ages a little more.

I suppose we head out there then. I'll give Haynes a shout on the way.

I suppose I shall head to the factory then. On the motorcycle, naturally.

It's quite a long way out so it takes a good few hours (via the usual convoluted system of vehicle-carrying gauss trains and normal roads). As usual for Downtown, the area is pretty poor and you get scowls and sideways glances from the citizens you pass. The factory itself looks like it is being avoided by the nearby apartment buildings. Sealed off by a heavy chain link fence leaving a hundred yards of empty space on all sides, the thin chimneys and bent, rusting scaffolding of the superstructure jut from the squat concrete loading bays like a twisted, skeletal tree. Graffiti tags pock the ground inside the fence, with a couple on the wall of the building.

Eraser will have a scout around (as scouty as he n be in power armour) and look for the Most Recent tracks, what entrances they use most, and what may have made them.

Tracking 5:

Roll(2d10)+5:
8,2,+5
Total:15

Oddly enough, you don't find any tracks. There are a couple of small holes in the fence that a human could squeeze through, but the intersections are rusty, indicating they don't get used much if at all. Similarly, peering at the graffiti reveals that all but a couple are old and worn, half washed away by the incessant rain. As far as you can tell this place is genuinely abandoned.

I'll also take a look around for things.

Detect (5): 5, 3 + 5 = 13

There really isn't an awful lot to see. There are a couple of large loading bay doors, heavy things which look like they've been rusted shut for generations, and a smaller pedestrian entrance which is less substantial but equally decayed. Anyone would think you guys are paranoid about what's in there. :P

I'll try the pedestrian door.

You'll have to slide under the fence through one of the small holes. Or climb over it, or cut it. Whichever way you do it you cross the open space to the factory, which is oddly agoraphobic compared to almost everywhere else you've been in Mort. The pedestrian door is made from very rusted metal, but it looks like it wasn't designed much for security. There's a keypad lock on the wall by it which looks equally decrepit, the crumbling plastic of the LEDs dark.

SPANG! The door is pretty weak and crashes in off its hinges, landing with a boom which echoes around the darkness of the facility inside. A gust of moist, stale air breezes out of the doorway. Inside lies the loading bay, damp and filthy with water dripping through the rotten concrete roof, collecting among the debris which litters the floor. It’s completely dark save for the grey light of Downtown coming in through the entrance.

Well, Eraser will try and make a gap wide enough for him to go through:

Strength 17 in armour:

Roll(2d10)+17:
3,6,+17
Total:26

If thats enough to tear through the chain fence?

I'd say so. That's enough to rip a whole section of it out.
