Looks like a good spot, actually.

Thoughts on going in to creative to lay down minecart tracks to there from our own village - or should we lay a path there instead?

It would have taken days to even find a site otherwise, by which time we'd have got bored and gone to play something else.

FJ and Fab have built a base of operations at the site, Berk has put up a navigation beacon to help find it. I chopped the top off a hill. Orhedge hasn't been started yet, and by the looks of things we'll need quite a bit more landscaping before we do. I plan on making a basic road from the spawn since a few people tried and failed to find it tonight.

To say I helped build is a bit of an overstatement. I brought animals and made them have sex

Actually, can we keep a list of Z and Y's of useful places in the top post?

On that note, Orhedge is somewhere near x500, y-1000. its not there, but you can see the beacon from there. I'll get a more accurate reading later.

In other news, ive made a shorter route to and from in the form of a portal. I have succesfully got from Orhedge to the main base (or, more specifically, Berks Closet) in record time. The only downside at the moment is that it involves a lot of terrified running about whilst ghastbombs fly over your head.

Made one in my closet the night after we did the group project. :)

Yep! Orhedge is now connected to the main base via the portal in Berks closet. Its all fairly safe to use, just don't mine anything. A lot of it is one block away from firey lava death.

Also, ive put an enchantment thingy in the main base library. Spinning book of lovelyness!

I started stock pilling some matts in the chests in the base over there.

We are in desperate need of tools, and more chests, possibly torches too :/

I have made a tunnel from the base at portal to the build site, and am starting on a storage room under the panic room. There's quite a bit of stone to move over if we want it?

I trimmed off a large section of a hill in front of the statue tonight :D Looking forward to actually building :D

We have stone and wood, both can be used to make tools and torches - admittedly crap tools - but we can make lots of them. There's always stone and trees grow back, coal and iron don't.

We no longer need storage crates.... There are plenty in the storage room I built :D
Just need 6 more signs for labelling them.

The underground storage is appreciated. I don't care to count how many times I was exploded by a creeper while checking chests in the open.
