Water and ice make shards. This shotgun blast is very effective against goblins, and the area effect gets them away nicely. Combine with a dash of stone for a grenade-launcher like spiky ice-ball for one-shotting archers, or a splash of arcane for extra redness (and possibly damage). Oh, and the supercharged version at 5 charges of shards are like a machinegun.

W A SPACE

F+Q creates steam, then add any one of A (lightning), S (Arcane), R (Ice) or all three on top and it makes a super lethal beam.

ARARAR - chain lightning that jumps from enemy to enemy (or Pete) then freezes them in place

afawefawsadffa - general gameplay

Also, this game apparently can reset all your keys to blank, randomly.

Look out for that.

Just read that they will be releasing patches every day until things work properly.

You have got to admire their dedication to get it fixed. It might have been an idea to use that dedication *before* release though.

I don't think I saw any gameplay related bugs (unless the not healing was one, but I put that down to not knowing about something, like er, rain) mostly it seemed to be server related stuff.

They could certainly do with learning a thing or 2 about server browsers.

Regardless of the frequent FAIL, it was awesome.

Just thinking it would be good to have a status icon for each of your fellow wizards, then it would be easy to see if anyone needs WA SPACE, or if they're being ridden by a goblin.

:above: Oh, very this. My stomach muscles are still hurting a little. The fact that one of the four players was a random just made it all the more lolsome.

No only super combo's need the book, not sure what the proper term is for them but they include things like Meteor Shower and Summon Death. For these ones you have to press space bar instead of right mouse to cast.

For the regular combo's like lightning-ice-beam, fire-rock-bomb-thing etc. it's just normal key combo and right mouse (or middle for cast on self).

I just read a bit about casting spells on your sword then you can use the sword to hit something, or cast it from your sword which sends it in a straight line, eg. you can cast lightning shield on your sword then shoot a straight line of it out.

Is my understanding.

Given the myriad combinations of powers alone without the extra special super powers thrown in there is quite a few we undoubtedly haven't found yet, still it generally never hurts to chuck a bit of s in to get the killing further away from you, unless you cross the beams wrong...

Bzzzzzrrrrt sizzle, BOOM! What the fuck! Rez plz!

For most of them yes, but I think you get some basic ones free as resurrect is considered one, and I think you get Haste and Teleport as well.

So erm not sure :?

But you don't get the big damage type ones until you get a book (probably)

I know you can definitely do the teleport without the book, as I've done it by accident.
