What do you guys think of the new logo? Decided to drop the b3ta gamers bit, seeing as 5punk isn't just about b3tans these days

You can fix that, with a bit of coding trickery. I can try and find it if you want.

On the proper looking one (from berk's pic) the left 5punk splat looks too big, the top edge is cut off, I think it would look nicerer if the whole splat fit onto the bar

I think it looks great, the word is a lot clearer.

Also the new, big buttons have already been of use for uploading that image up there. Although it's not 100% clear what "Files" and "Hosting" actually mean but I can't think of other single words that would make it clearer. Obviously I can guess but n00bs may not be able to.

Woo! ctrl + F5 fixed it, it looks very win

The only things I can really suggest is to smooth the shadows a bit on the buttons and I also noticed there's a stray pixel in each top corner of the servers button /perfectionist

Damn those pesky pixels

I'll ask Dog Pants to have a look at buffing them up a bit, as the buttons were actually created before this design was thought of by Stoat, so they made need a slight colour change on the bottom of each button, or perhaps shave off the jagged pixels entirely.

This has been a bit of a joint effort from the admins at 5punk, and as mentioned it will change a bit along the way, as we have something else in store for the header as well.

As for the website, well you will just have to wait and see.

Fixed it for me straight off, but then I knew what to expect. The jaggedy buttons are because I designed them with an original 5punky blue background matte, which in hindsight was a mistake because I knew they'd be on that background. I'll investigate tweaking them at some point (and investigate .png, although pngs look shit in IE).

All very very pretties.

Although I must say, that those new buttons "Servers" etc, do look like they'd suit a "pushed in" look when you hover over them. Involves pre-loading images and stuff though.

One thought tho... is the xfire button needed at all? It seems to me to be pimping the old system which is now pointless with the new clans thing. A link to forums post might be better?
