I've worn out MS, razor and logitech mice. The cordless one stopped charging and clicking properly, I wore through the left click on the MS, the razor one just gave up from too much goo seeping into the inside, my first mx5xx slowly perished from microswitch damage. None of them lasted more than 2 years. The logitechs have been the best however.

I've worn out a few keyboards too, but that usually food, drink and ash gumming up the keys so even a good wash does very little. I recommend saitek for keyboards, they do backlights and sturdy keys without too much clacky noise.
