I made a Dreamkiller (Dream/rogue) last night, a few of you got to see her in action.
Apart from her bullshit attacks every now and then, she didn't really do too much damage, and died often.
I can highly recommend that after you've had a play around with skills for the first 10/12 levels, when you reach Delphi (Half way point) you look at re-doing your skills. There's a chap with a blue sphere above his head that's willing to trade skill resets for money. This is great if you've amassed a fortune by selling all the yellow goodies you've picked up along the way.
Take a look at Poinas' Guide for All Skills to get an idea of the good and bad skills that your chosen classes have available to them. It will give you an idea of what they do at first and last level, what they do, whether or not they're useful, and how many points to invest in them.
Some times it's more useful to unlock an active skill with a single point (one you activate) and then boost its effects with its sub skills (or 'synergies'). This guide will give you an idea of when to do this, too.

Secondly, check out Titancalc. There are some people that share their 'builds' on here, but I just use it to refer back to skills in Poinas' list, and maybe plot out a tree of skills for myself to aim towards.

Alrighty, that should do it.
Happy questing, titties.

I started as dream, and then went for rogue.
Was using the dream hitty attack, and have re-speced to rogue hitty, removing points in sleep too.
Seems to be working wonders. I went from falling over and chugging potions to smashing my way through mobs.
I think my current build is <a href="http://www.titancalc.com/TitanCalc.asp? ... >something like this</a>, from memory.

Sleep is totally worthless. Calculated Strike is pretty good, but it isn't very useful against skeletons and such as they resist pierce damage. Other than that, I would ditch Distortion Field for the one next to it, Distort Reality. It's an activated spell rather than one that reacts to damage, and the Temporal Rift skill above it will easily take out anything around you if you keep putting points into it. Really you only need the one point in Distort Reality and then max out Temporal Rift. Looks good though.Grimmie wrote:I started as dream, and then went for rogue.

Okay, a re-install after a long time away from this seems to have shown up a few problems.
1 - A C++ errorz, if I click ignore as advised by Doggers it carries on working, but it is weird.
2 - The monsters seem to have stopped levelling? I'm almost 13 and I'm still fighting 5-7 with the very occasional boss type being 14/15. I'm at the oracle in Delphi with my magic twig and I'm wondering if it should be like this?

Protip: Don't ever spend a skill point without checking what you're doing. A respec isn't a one-off reset like in Warcraft, it doubles for every skill point you undo. So by the time you get to Delphi and can actually do it you can waste all your money on respeccing and still not actually undo a bad build. Like I just did.

Can you give me a titancalc link? Alternatively, my level 63 Dream/Defense guy has nearly 450 million gold on him, and the other two that have beaten legendary aren't too far behind. There is no way I'd ever come close to spending all that, so you guys are welcome to it.
I also started saving good gear (greens w/ relics/charms, blues, and purples) for pretty much any kind of class so if anyone wants to twink out their character just let me know.
