Levelling in the city takes longer imo than heading back to the desert to do the cowboy robot stuff, plus the cowboy robot stuff is just plain better.

I reached monster island and got fed up with lots of stuff being broken.

It's a sad trend repeating, so many mmongs seem to think they've put enough content in to last everyone ages and no-one will max level for ages and then it happens in a week or so and they're stumped. From half way through the levels until end game they haven't fixed everything because they thought they would have more time. Suddenly all the low level problems that niggle a bit pale into insignificance when large story arcs for high level players are completely broken and more and more people reach a point where they have to grind without any quests.

Plus chimps needs more people per instance.

And how about some friggin dugeon type stuff at lower levels? Chimps is seriously lacking this and it is where WoW proper kicks it in the nuts and shits on its head (thats Chimps head, not WoWs) The lairs I have been in have all been short solo affairs.

That's one of the things that made CoH, IMO.

everything was potentially a 5 man dungeon. made getting teams very easy and minimised dickishness.

Yeah, I missed that. I was a bit shocked that even at level 20 something, I'd only been inside somewhere to kill something.. 5 or 6 times?
Does mean that you can use your travel powers to negotiate parts of the map and get into vantage points during missions, though. They're practically useless indoors.

fyi Don't bother with CoH/V for awhile...there's barely anyone playing atm. I think I saw 164 on Freedom at the most. Best to wait till "Going Rogue" gets released as I'm sure peeps will come back for that...

Yup, CoH is very broken recently, but that's another thread :P
