They really need to fix the shooting through walls bug, it's so fucking annoying.

I've recently discovered the wonders of the Support class, on a densely populated city map like Camp Gibralter or Tunis Harbor, you can rip apart wave upon wave of enemy soldiers. The emp grenade gets used more than i imagined. As 'slinger said, its great for immobilising walkers and tanks.

IPS Shield
I've only used this a few times as it tends to just draw attention to your position. It might have been useful if you could shoot through it. Only really needed if you are out in the open.

Advanced Medical Hub - Heals people faster (and apparently also heals people in and around your vehicle). Since it's faster it might help out getting those healing badges.

Smoke Grenades - Creates a nice cloud of smoke to hide in. Can be useful if you know someone's hiding around a corner and you want to get past them without them knowing.

Voss L-AR - I've found this to be very accurate, though not that powerful. It's a nice little gun for any medic.

Also, a little edition to the EMP grenades: They're also great for screwing up enemy infantry's view and crosshairs, which could potentially mean they miss you just a little more often.

Good stuff guys - I've been on the recieving end of those EMP grenades all too often and it makes it bloody difficult to hit people, and lasts for ages.

We've only got a couple of general unlocks (which people are unlikely to have I think) and the other leg of the Support unlocks to fill in now. I've also just noticed that there are squad unlocks to put in too

only squad unlock I have is Spawn Beacon, it is handy. Myself and spoodie were defending a Silo thingy in titan mode using it to re wpawn there and re-take the silo anytime it was taken.

Er here goes then

Squad Spawn Beacon (Name? sp? great start): You must have at least one other member in your squad to use this and be the squad leader. Used to Airdrop into a location after it has been placed on the ground (Like an Anti-personel mine) not stealthy but it is big and clever. The enemy can destroy these with small arms fire so placement is important. They should be hidden and at a location that you are not going to fall from (i.e. when annoying buggers put them on the edge of the enemy titan hull and you can do nothing but fall off the edge) . The drop pods have very little manouverability unlike the titan/apc/Aircraft pods.
Very useful to regain quick access to a location that has been captured or requires transport to reach.

Edit: for drop podness

Recovery System: Very much a "Where have you been all my life?" unlock. once you have it you'll wonder how you managed without it. Significantly increases the rate that you regenerate stamina to allow you to sprint again. making covering long distances on foot a lot quicker. Ideal for snipers that need to move to locations without drawing too much attention i.e Driving a big fuck off tank.

max clip: Dont use my side arm much, give you an extra bullet or two depending on side not really worth it if you ask me.

Extra grenades: If theres one thing I like more than explosives its extra explosives. if you have two spare unlocks it is worth jumping from recovery to this just for a little extra grenade power, and EMP if you are support class so twice the fun.

Nice one Mikkyo. The bit about not putting the squad beacon on the edge of Titans reminds me of something quite the opposite I was someone doing; The leader of a random squad I was on placed the beacon right next to a tall building on the Berlin map. More often than not this means that when you spawned you'd land on top of said building, giving you a fantastic sniping platform that most people wouldn't think to look at.

yeah done that too. requires precise placement, you don't get as much movement out of the squad leader drop pods as you do from the titan/apc/troop carrier ones. Hand as hell that location as an engineer for picking off armour. cunts them in the fuck and the have no idea where you are usually.

Another thing to bear in mind with spawn beacons is that once placed they have to be destroyed before you can place another. Which can be annoying if you're right across the other side of the map to it and want to place one near another capture point. Also sometimes the enemy spawn-rapes them rather than destroying it making it very difficult to lay another elsewhere.

It's probably best to destroy the beacon once you've decided to attack/defend another capture point.

You pick them up again by using the 'G' button the same asp APM and Det Packs

Well now, there's something I didn't know. I've often accidentally dropped a claymore somewhere inappropriate and just thought "bugger" and left it. Didn't know you could pick them back up.

Edit: And it also works with those little support turrets, yay! I've often tried to place them in crafty places only to have them fall over and end up pointing the wrong direction or something and then been angry about having to wait ages to get another

I should have thought of that, I knew you could do it with APMs, ta.

But the important thing is that you don't leave spawn beacons where they are when they're no longer of use, being exploited or inappropriately placed.

Herzog AR-Shotgun: Just unlocked this after getting all the medic stuff and wasn't sure what else to get. as I've said before I can't be arsed with anymore Squad leader stuff. But anyway I have to disagree with DP and say I find this to be an amazing wee unlock. Using this in confined spaces or close to your target, you can fire off two shots and they are dead. shit bust. Douple tap on the mouse and they are dead before you know it.

The engineer's shotgun in the original BeeF was how I got most of my kills, there's always someone trying to knife/medshock/bum you and stick their face right down the barrel(s).

I was getting loads today with it. and you get shotgun kill badges worth 10 or 20 points I can't remember, so quicker ranking for me I think if I play medic more. I'm working on my gold explosives badge at the moment though.

I might have to give it a second chance then, maybe switching to it pre-emptively before I go somewhere tight.

True, tunnels plus Det-Pack = stress relief.
