Beef Monster Munch destroy all other crisps around.

I'm also quite partial to blue Doritos, Walkers Thai Red Chilli and Nobbys Chicken Balti.

my mom got me a bag of lays from her stay in the big apple, quite possibly the worst thing ever. wafer thin and soaked in fat. my hand was wet with grease just from reaching into the bag. ugh

I was going to do a "comedy requote" involving moms, lays and greasy bags - but I felt it was too easy.

I've gotta love the Walkers Cheese and Onion purely due to its brilliance when accompanied with lager.
I am also particularly fond of the Thai Sweet Chili ones, and in my experience Kettle > Tyrells. Parsnip crisps? What are they trying to be.. healthy?!

I don't know if that was directed toward my bag or not, but if it was, the brand I'm eating are Jay's potato chips.

Lay's chips are pretty thin and greasy. I tend to prefer Ruffles if I'm getting anything from Frito-Lay because they're a bit thicker.

While in America, I pondered if these two companies were related?
I couldn't see a similar 'parent company' on either product.

They have Lays in France too, and I always assumed that Lays and Walkers were one and the same, although this may have been in error.

Even if some of them are supposedly healthier, I don't really go for the massive packets, I just get bored before the end. The exception would be the mini poppadoms where you get a little pot of mango chutney inside.

McCoy's have some interesting Pub Grub flavours out at the moment - the sausage one's a bit iffy (as sausage crisps usually are) but the steak & ale and cheese & pickle are quite nice, although I don't like the texture of ridged crisps as much for some reason. Brannigan's were sort of like a non-ridged version, but I haven't seen them for a while - once they did pub grub flavours, the best being lamb & mint - which were a lot nicer than recent efforts by Walker's at the flavour.

I've had some mad "extreme" crisps and some rather harsh asian ones, but like most salt & vinegar I find them a bit much to eat on their own. Less harsh salt & vinegar ones are Disco's, Smith's Square and French Fries.

Prawn cocktail has always seemed like the seafood sauce without any prawns in, except Skips which were okay. Scampi Fries win for seafood-related flavours, and fingers-dipped-in-guinness-after-eating-them smell.

Don't if it's still the case, but the only vegan Walker's used to be Ready Salted and, er.. Beef.

Frazzles are my favourite bacon crisps, as they make the effort to look like little bits of bacon.

Salt and shake give you a bit of interaction, as do hula hoops as you can put them on your fingers - although that's a bit harder to do than when I was a kid.

Actually Walkers did a Sausage and Tomato Sauce flavour not too long ago - they were rather tasty.

I hate these. I think it's the texture, even if they have a strong flavour they still feel bland.

The regular walker's lamb and mint is a bit lame but I think the Sensations edition is/was superb but I havent seen them around lately.
