*shrugs*
I just don't like what weapons I can use in an FPS being limited based on a random number generator.

Edit: Also it wouldn't have been as bad if they'd more than half-implemented the system. If they'd added the trade stuff as well I could (for example) trade my extra backburner for one of lee's extra cloaks, but as is I'm getting duplicates and can't do anything with them. Removing the possibility to get duplicates (just until the trade system is implemented) would have gone a long way to satisfying everyone.

I concur with Slinger, what they've currently implemented is worse than the system it's replaced, but once they upgrade it and rolll out all the parts (trading, although, that will be limited I think) and being able to direct the drops towards certain classes it might be better.

For now, doesn't look like it.

Guess what I got today...

Another fucking can of Bonk.

I get it, they created a system, but it would've made sense if they'd have kept the achievement unlocks for all 9 classes for one set of items, then create another set randomly achieveable, because right now they're pretty much alienating their hardcore playerbase.

At least there's a chance of me actually getting unlocks now. The system's not right, but I'm happy with it. :ahoy:

As test I joined an idle server and went out for a couple of hours, two unlocks when I got back, not bad. No dups yet as I didn't have many to start with.

I won the feign death watch, probably the last thing I wanted, but it's interesting how it works.

No doubt bubbles will trade you a few things for that if he doesn't have it.

Sorry, I do. It's not that good really, it works fine in arenas, but Cloak and Dagger is better overall. However, nothing beats the good old invisibility watch.

As for items, I could kill for an Ambassador or a hat.

I'd like the Ambassador, just because - I've since snagged the completely useless razorback. It's only useful in one very specific situation against one particular class...who will be able to see it quite plainly and shoot you instead.

I've actually realized I have trouble shooting snipers. They move around a lot, and they're camping pretty much where anyone on their team respawning can see them. Also, bow snipers are pretty hard to Revolver down since they have the normal field of view.

I have an ambassador, it's quite good. I want the cloak and dagger/dead ringer... even though they nerfed the dead ringer into uselessness already

Nothing all week, then three today. Cloak and Dagger, which sounds rather splendid if you can avoid being accidentally shot at.

Got an Ambassador finally, and it's AWESOME. It also means my arsenal of useful stuff is now complete. Only missing a razorback and 9 hats now.

I think I'll be pleased if I never get a hat, at least not before I have the usable stuff. Boxing gloves have punched their way into my inventory.

Is the Razorback actually visible to the opposing team? I'd assume not as it's saved my arse on several occasions and mostly allowed me to take out the spy as well. I'd have thought the spy wouldn't bother backstabbing if they could see it.

I won a Huntsman. It's trickier to use than I was expecting.

That would make it rather pointless, I think I assumed it was visible because I could see it on myself. I don't think you can see it on the enemy, as I stabbed a rather dopey sniper with one and managed to get the achievement for killing him anyway.
